Great dining experience

Food and drinks were great, service was great, presentation was impressive. We ordered the roasted black garlic ramen, sweet potato tempura and snapdragon sushi rolls, saguaro cocktail and chocolate mousse. We enjoyed everything. We also appreciated them checking temperatures on the way into the restaurant as a precaution.

Amazing sushi

Lots of options for vegan sushi. So many good flavors in the ones I tasted. Will return.

Delicious vegan “sushi”

Recommend? Yes. You should've gone already!

We got the yuba nigiri, gyoza, vegetable tempura, Snapdragon roll, enoki mushroom nigiri, Chikyu platter, and the victory dance euphoric.

Everything was truly delicious. I lack the language to describe how good it all was. It was like sushi, but on the next level if that's a thing. Though the gyozas were definitely average. Lol.

The victory dance euphoric was refreshing and I loved the mix of spice. In case you were wondering what it is: "These mood-enhancing concoctions use nootropics, neurotransmitters, and other positive ingredients to bring some sparkle to your evening without any alcohol."

Best Sushi in Vegas - Vegan or Otherwise

Chickū is evidence that delectable, well-executed cuisine transcends any niche, diet, and category.

Pros: Friendly & attentive service from every direction.

Cons: Limited seating + no reservations = potential wait

Amazing deliciousness

The service is impeccable and so genuinely kind. The food is outstanding. We ordered so much and nothing was bad! I had ordered takeout during the pandemic but this time got to have many of the “dine in only” options which blew me away!

Amazing Japanese Restaurant

This restaurant was phenomenal! Do not miss this experience when you visit Las Vegas. The location is not so nice—in a strip mall—but the interior of the restaurant was pleasant. I am vegan but went here with 5 omnivores (2 of them were children under 12), we loved absolutely everything and we ordered a ton of dishes. The kids just texted asking for the name of the restaurant because they want to go back (the kids and parents live in Las Vegas).

Pros: delicious , exceptional service, inventive cuisine

Cons: strip mall location not as appealing as Shizen, challenging w/o printed menus due to COVID

Great!

Fantastic! Creative, tasty, and honestly not *that* expensive for what it is. I’ve had the pleasure of eating at here and their two sister restaurants and they’re all of such high caliber.

Fantastic, creative sushi that goes above and beyond

Hands down, this is the best sushi I've ever had, vegan or not. The ingredients are phenomenal and they go WAY beyond the standard avocado and cucumber rolls that are typically our only options at non-vegan sushi joints. The presentation is beautiful too, even when they're boxed up for take-out. We've been here a few times now and tried different things and everything has been DELICIOUS and it's clear that a lot of effort goes into making it. Very excited for the pandemic to be over so I can take my non-vegan friends here and show them how awesome vegan food can be!

Only downside I can think of is that the location is a little inconvenient, and the parking lot is weirdly inaccessible and google maps had me trying to make impossible turns to get in/out of the place. But the food is worth the trip and the prices aren't unreasonable for the quality you're getting.

Pros: Delicious, creative sushi, Beautiful presentation

Cons: Inconvenient location

Just what you want in sushi

If you’ve been to the Bay Area and had the vegan sushi there, know that you are so lucky to have this place in our own Las Vegas area. The sushi is phenomenal and unlike any other in Vegas. This is well-paired flavors and textures that is art for your senses. I love the creativity of it all.

Pros: Veggies and fruits and grains, yay!, No mock meats, Beautiful food with great service

Amazing and creative sushi

This restaurant has delicious sushi, appetizers and tempura. My non vegan sister says it was better than regular sushi. The sushi rolls had a huge variety of flavors and ingredients. So delicious!

The ocotillo roll was the best of all our food!

Pros: Delicious , Friendly service

Better sushi in town

This place was just ok. It was severely overpriced for what we got. We most likely won't go back. There are a number of other vegan sushi places that are way better!

Sad how people leave horrible reviews, because of their financial hardship. Just not right or fair. If the price was more affordable.. probably would of been a five star review. Please lmk which place offers "way better" vegan and gluten free sushi.. id love to check them out too!

Best Vegan Sushi

This is definitely the best vegan sushi I’ve ever had. They don’t try and replicate normal sushi - they create amazing food that stands on its own. The ingredients were so fresh and pretty, and there wasn’t a roll I didn’t like.

Pros: A big menu! , Gorgeous presentation , Fresh & healthy - great quality ingredients

Cons: None

Delicious!

I happened to see this while driving by, and while I don’t normally leave reviews, this place is too good not to. I ordered gyoza, asparagus, and 2 rolls. None of it is disappointing. The presentation, even for take away, is very pretty. I can’t wait to try more another time!

So impressed!

Only open for takeout for now. The food was beyond expectations. I loved everything I got.
The takeout was in limited packaging which I appreciate. No plastic bags either!
Even though it was takeout, the presentation was amazing. They added little touches to the meal so when you opened it, it looked like it was plated. Loved the orchids.

Pros: Entirely vegan, Minimal packaging, Great quality

Some of the best vegan sushi rolls I’ve ever had. So impressed with the presentation and flavors. Can’t wait for the restaurant to open full service.
