Great pasta in a cute cafe space! - Edit
Enjoyed the lasagna and mushroom cream gnocchi. The lasagna was our favourite and is a must try. The cafe has such a cute space with lots of art work from the owners to look at. Photos taken after a few bites! Menu is in English and the Owner speaks English as well!

Finally made it here and very satisfied - Edit
I've wanted to stop by here for sometime, but weekends have proven to be difficult. So... Today was the day I finally made it hee. We ordered 4 dishes and were very satisfied though the gnocchi was on the garlicky side. Dishes were seasoned just right to my taste, i.e. not too salty. Tomato sauce was also thick instead of watery. Though the place was small, it was worth visiting.

Lovely service - Edit
The decoration is cute even though the restaurant itself is very narrow. Valérie the lady is so lovely, very a warm smile. The food was good but nothing exceptional. I liked the Poutine the best !

Closed - Edit
I attempted to eat here twice and both times it was closed despite it being within the open hours displayed on here and on the door.

Everything was amazing - Edit
I got the lasagna, chai latte, and pumpkin pie. Yes it was a bit pricey, but so worth it. The only thing I wasn’t big on was the pumpkin pie, but I think that’s more due to me not loving pumpkin pie. And the owner is very sweet and nice. Small cozy place, there might be a wait.

I am sorry but the pizza tasted like vinegar - Edit
The lasagna and pumpkin pie were delicious! And the worker was so kind and gave me a free drink too! But the poutine was not at all what I was expecting it had a really weird sauce with a tiny bit of tofu? mixed in. and the pizza (ordered as it was the staffs recommendation) tasted really strongly of vinegar! It was weird.. I think to avoid confusion I wish the pizza and poutine had a bit of a better description on the menu.
Read morePros: Very catering to English speakers! (And korean!), Pumpkin pie was delishh

disappointed - Edit
I expected better. Valérie is very nice and we liked the gnocchi, the cookie and the drinks, but for the rest...
Read moreThe pizzas are just dough with not so good tomato sauce and some vegetables. No mock meat or vegan cheese, we do much better at home.
For the poutine, we only tasted the pepper, there was really too much, difficult to finish it.

Delicious! - Edit
Valerie is a very friendly Canadian young woman, she owns this little place in Seoul and serves some of the freshest, tastiest food I've ever tried. We were 4 people so we could try many of the items on the menu: rigatoni and Ragu pasta, spinach spaghetti, mushroom pizza and mushroom gnocchi.
Read moreAll was really tasty and done masterfully: I am italian and I could only approve of the taste and care with which the italian food was served. Definitely recommended!!
Pros: Friendly owner, Great tasty food , Fresh ingredients

Small cozy vegan restaurant at Mangwon. Tried Rigatoni, mushroom pizza, gnocchi and lasagna with non vegan friends. Everyone was happy for the hearty meal. Also thanks for the owner with hospitalilty. To avoid a long line, visit on Friday for lunch.

4.5 if I could - Edit
Really nice place, good food. I liked the rigatoni, it was meaty, a bit spicy and full of flavour. But the gnocchi was on the blend side. The texture was nice, but the cream sauce needs little something. The owner is super nice and I am dying to try their lasagna.

Lovely, crowded but good! And very garlicky - Edit
I loved everything about this place. First of all real good proper food. Satisfied my pasta craving. Lovely sweet owner and atmosphere. Theres a line but id say worth the wait if its not too long. Loved every dish though theyre all very garlicky. I hate garlic but they tasted so good i still enjoyed them. Love small intimate friendly setting. They open only on certain days so check it before you go!

I went there with friends and we had to wait for almost 1 hour. The place is small, I think there were only 4 or 6 tables. But it was worth the wait. The food was really good. The owner and waitress were also really really sweet and nice.

Chez Valerie - Edit
The rigatoni pasta here is particularly good, as are the baked goods. I havent had a chance to try the lasagna (seasonal) but I heard its also good.
Read moreThe gnocchi was a little bland for me, but my friends liked it. Same with the poutine, I wasnt especially fond of it, bur again my friends enjoyed it. The gravy needs a deeper flavor.
The portions are a little small but fitting for their prominent customer base.
There is usually a very long line, and its a small restaurant so it's good to come early.

Too pricey for ok food - Edit
Sometimes you have to wait a little. Food was ok, but too small portions for too much money. The noodles could have been more cocked, but the Maple Pecan Cake was good.

Kind owner, okay food - Edit
We ordered the Champignon Pizza and Pasta with vegan meat sauce. The mushrooms on the pizza were cooked very nicely but we found that the sauce of both the pizza and the pasta were lacking a bit. The owner was extremely kind with our take out order and even gave us a Ginger-ale soda as service. Unfortunately I wasn’t blown away by the food even though the reviews are good. Maybe it is just my preference of pasta and pizza as an Italian person.

Home-cooked, not home-made - Edit
This is a small restaurant run by a French-Canadian & Korean couple serving home-cooking style food. Their menu features Western dishes such as pasta, lasagna and so-called pizza - made their own, veganized way.
Read moreTheir pizza, for example, features a flatbread as the base and is thus totally different from classic pizza (be that Italian or American pizza for you).
Overall, the dishes we had were simple and subtly flavorful. While sauces are generally home-made, the noodles, gnocchi and "pizza" dough are not.
The owners are vegans themselves, they use vegan sugar and sell only vegan wines and beers. Certain ingredients are organic as well.
The location is quite small: There are four tables for a maximum of 10 people, and seating can be a bit uncomfortable and cramped.
The restaurant operates only on weekends and it may be difficult to get a seat without waiting outside. Making a reservation ahead of time is not possible.
Pros: Taste ok
Cons: Bit expensive, Seating

So intimate and tasty! - Edit
I enjoyed the vibe the restaurant had, it’s quite small so it has an intimate feel to it. Very easy to find and Valerie (the owner) was such an amazing host 😊 making sure we were happy and satisfied at all times! Their menu changes often (almost daily) so definitely check out their menu on their Instagram page 🌻 Tasty food! I had the Champignon pizza with the black vanilla tea and my friend had Mushroom cream gnocchi, both tasted amazing, I quite enjoyed the gnocchi more
