Vegan Association and restaurant

Cozy, zero waste, they use biological products, they organise workshops, debates, courses, painting expositions and so on. As a restaurant they are very cheap and the food is locally sourced and is very tasty!

Pros: Amazing multi cultural place, All vegan, Zero waste

I suppose they could have been more rude... I chose not to see if that’s so

Food may be great, but I’ll never know. I had the misfortune of wandering into this place at 6:50 in the middle of a rain storm. There were other people sitting at tables. When I asked about a table, I was told to leave and come back in 40 minutes when dinner was served. When I asked if I could at least wait until the rain had let up, I was told no.

Not sure I can remember a worse non-dining experience.

Pros: At least I got a chance to see, What they were like, Before spending any money there

Cons: Rude and condescending staff, Plenty of other vegan options in Porto, I’d suggest you find them

Hey Kelcy!
Casa da Horta collective would like to clarify that there might have been an misunderstanding concerning this situation.
We open Casa da Horta at 12.30 and we serve lunch until 15h00.
The kitchen closes until we open it again to start serving dinner at 19h30.
In the interval of time between lunch and dinner, which is from 15h00 to 19h30pm, the association and its bar are open, only the kitchen is closed and not serving meals.
Our timetables are available in our media platforms.
We welcome everyone who wishes to visit us and we do never send anyone away albeit food not being ready.
We believe that we might not have explained this correctly and in that case we offer our most sincere apologies.
Than you for the feedback which helps us improve our association.

We loved it!

What a great place!!
Good people, good vibe, yummy food.
We solved the "riddle of the week" and got free tea by our choice😄
The woman told us about the background of the place which is very interesting. And we even painted something for the restaurant.
The world need more places like this!

Good and inexpensive

I had a dish of the day, a small lemon cake and a glass of Porto wine. Everything was delicious and very fulfilling, I spend about 5 euros. The staff was nice and friendly. Super recommend.

Very nice cozy place

I had a Japanese dinner here. It was great to find such an international place in Porto and they also had very nice live music. The Japanese dinner was also very tasty.

Pros: Good food, Cozy place, At least sometimes live music

Cons: Localização longe de minha casa

Very funky!! But food was delicious!! Not our favorite vegan restaurant, but wins for best food!!! The restaurant sort of in a cave and menu is whatever they prepared for the day. It was so delicious.

Cute cosy place

The food is simple and the service friendly and helpful. The place was busy and it made me so happy to see so many people avoiding animal cruelty by eating here. Really happy to find.

Incredible place!

Fun environment (books, nice music, wifi, games), very friendly staff, and delicious food (maybe the best I've had in Portugal) with big portions! Lunch is about €5.50 for the main plate, a big soup, and a drink.

Best place to go in Porto

We were there several times and everything is perfect there. The atmosphere and the people are wonderful and the food is more than excellent for this low price.
The even have a riddle of the week.

Excellent!

My husband and I went for lunch and loved it! There was only one option on the menu but we didn’t care because it was so good. Starter was a carrot and sweet potato soup and the main course was a chickpea tomato dish, hummus, potatoes, salad, and soy ground “meat.” We were too full for dessert, but they had several vegan options for that as well. Highly recommend!
