Great food. - Edit
I ate the dish of the day. This place has a great atmosphere. It’s not only a restaurant but also NGO that connects the local community with nature.

cheap and yummy - Edit
I really liked the vibe in that place, and the fact that it is non-profit makes it even better.
Read moreThe food is very cheap and came quickly. I had the Francesinha. Although I never had Francesinha before, I'd say it was quite different to the original version. The filling was with smoked tofu and vegetables, instead of the usual meat and sausage. And the sauce was basically a tomato sauce, not "beery" at all. But overall I was very satisfied and full afterwards.

Absolutely disgusting - Edit
I don't usually leave feedback, although I know I should, but this time I have no choice. This is the worst vegan restaurant I have tried in ages, absolutely no hygiene whatsoever, the food was insipid and the service terrible, I would recommend this restaurant to my worst enemy.

Good place, NOT vegan - Edit
I love these places in portugal, social venues with good atmosphere and cheap prices.
Read moreWe went on francesinha night and it was a bit disappointing because it was full of veggies. Which is ok if you know it beforehand, but I think it was a bad surprise, considering the options we have now to make a mock francesinha with tofu, seitan...
I saw other dishes like chickpea curry that looked and smelt great tho.
If I lived in Porto I'd be here all the time, but maybe not for the food. The staff was very friendly too.
Worth mentioning this place is not vegan, they sell products (like the francesinha) with regular cheese as well.

Italian night - Edit
I originally went here 3 years ago and the restaurant had one option and it was my favourite restaurant I visited whilst I was there. I visited last week, the staff were welcoming and there was an Italian night on, I ordered the gnocchi which came with a salad. I really enjoyed the food however everyone else was there were in big groups and the vibe was a bit off - so wasn’t ideal for a solo traveller.

Cool concept, not the best food - Edit
I love the concept and prices were very cheap, but the food itself wasn’t very flavorful and my starter was so salty I almost couldn’t eat it. More for the community than quality of food

Constantly shifting anarchist place - Edit
Worth taking a look even if you're not going to dine there. But if you do, it's cheap, central and unexpected.

Main was served before I finished my starter - Edit
When I was still in the middle of eating my starter (and not even almost finished), the waiter, without asking/checking to see if I'm ready, just gives me my main, and thus I had to abandon my starter in order to eat main before it went cold. However, the main I got (tofu curry) had some roasted tofu on the side, which was much colder than the curry, and the aubergines and rice were also notably colder than the curry, which made the dish quite unpalatable. As well as this, the main was served sloppily in my opinion. However, everything is relatively cheap and there is a nice ambiance in the place.
Read morePros: Fully vegan, Relatively inexpensive, Nice ambiance
Cons: Rice, tofu, aubergine were cold, Main served when I wasn't finished my starter, Food (tofu curry) was presented sloppily

The francesinha is perfect! - Edit
Totally in love with their Francesinha (served only on Fridays). Best to book in advance as they are often full. We didnt have a reservation but arrived early and was able to eat luckly! The coconut cake is also marvelous! Will definitely go back! The open minded & inclusive concept of the Association makes this place even more special.

Great place for a specific crowd - Edit
This place is an association. It’s amazing if you like this kind of scenery. It’s both financial and ecological very accessible and open for anyone.
Read moreFor me the main dish I ate was very very sweet and sticky. It wasn’t quite what I was hoping for. As the menu is changing every day/week: I can only state that the three stars are for this evening, this menu and because of my personal preferences.
Pros: Democratic prices, Open for all, All vegan
Cons: The dish wasn’t full on (for me), Quite cold inside.

Place to go in Porto - Edit
Great, cheap food and drinks and probably the best place to get to know alternative people and local political initiatives in Porto. Many activities, events and free shop. It's also possible to help out here within an European volunteer program.

It definitely had a charity feel to it, we did enjoy ourselves. Incredibly cheap so we gave an extra donation.

At first we were a bit confused because the place is very "interesting". The staff and the food were great though. The food was very cheap. You should give the restaurant a chance, it's worth it. And be sure to try a dessert.
