Options shrinking - Edit
In a town where vegan options have never been widespread, this is another where options are narrowing. The menu doesn't have a separate vegan section and some vegan favourites have gone.
Read moreThere are still good vegan choices - the pizza is still there and there are pasta choices, so this is still a decent option, but from a vegan standpoint not what it was.

Fewer vegan options than expected - Edit
Went a few days ago and the menu was not what I expected - gone were many of the vegan items, such as lasagne.
Read moreOrdered the only vegan pizza and it was very bland. If you want a real Neapolitan pizza go to La Laterna instead. It won’t have any vegan cheese, tofu, etc, but the dough is the clear winner.
The only saving grace was the ratatouille, which my wife ordered and enjoyed.

Rare vegan options - Edit
This place has a separate veggie menu with vegan choices clearly marked, which is quite rare in the area.
Read moreThe options include pizza, a burger (bunless, comes as two patties covered in sauce) and lasagna. Having some variety was a lovely change and staff were helpful. The Canarian potatoes with mojo sauce were really good. That said, the other food I tried was only ok but- the burger was kind of mushy and not my thing and the tofu on the pizza is completely flavourless.
In short, it isn’t very good vegan food, but the effort to create a menu that has clear vegan options at all was really appreciated and went a long way!
Pros: Clear labelling , Multiple vegan options, Canarian potatoes are great
Cons: Food is generally only ok

Worth a visit - Edit
The volcano salad was a really nice, interesting combination of ingredients.
Read moreAlso had the veggie lasagne, it states it is vegan on the menu, so I didn't specify vegan. I'm now unsure whether they put real cheese on or have a very good vegan cheese supplier !! I just scraped it to the side, I wanted to check, but no one came near once I had been served my food. Otherwise it was really nice, fresh and authentic
So when ordering here, double-check that the dishes are vegan
Pros: Good location, Reasonably priced

Walk 15 minutes down the strip to La Lanterna and you can get a pizza that is miles better.

Great selection of vegan options! - Edit
Last week I had a week away in Puerto del Carmen and actually ended up eating at Capri Pizzeria twice.
Read moreHave a fantastic range of vegan options and they are all clearly marked on the menu. Be careful when asking for the vegan lasagne that you say the vegan lasagne with the tofu bechamel and not just the vegetable lasagne as this is not vegan.
Really enjoyed the food thoroughly, service was quick and friendly, had a lovely outdoor terrace where we sat and watched the world go by and has a lovely cocktail bar just over the road called the Golden Corner for live music!! Would highly recommend! Vegan options include a tofu and vegetable dish, a pizza, salads, ratatouille, the lasagna, a soup and some others too. I went for the lasagne both nights with the volcano salad as was so delicious!!
Pros: Great vegan options, Lovely terrace, Friendly service

Dubious about what is vegan here - Edit
Things marked on menu as vegan but we were then told weren’t vegan. Be cautious when eating here.
Read moreI had the stir fry with tofu and partner had the pizza. Both tasted exceedingly average to bad. It filled a hole - but we wouldn’t return.
Pros: Good location
Cons: Food sucks , Items not marked correctly on menu

Got the vegan vegetable with tofu dish - very oniony and quite oily! Nice taste though I couldn’t finish it due to all the oil.

Vegan calzone! - Edit
I was amazed how imaginative the vegan options were here instead of the usual Neapolitan and Arrabiata. There was a vegan lasagne made with soy and tofu, a vegan pizza made with tofu and various others. I asked for my vegan pizza as a calzone which I've craved since I went vegan 5 years ago and they happily obliged. Also shocked at the low bill, only 35 euros for three mains, a side two beers and a bottle of water ! Food was excellent but that is stating the obvious!

They still have the vegetable lasagna as vegan, and still contain egg... I tried the rice with vegetables, but I didn't really like it.

Has potential - Edit
Great to see non vegan restaurants having multiple vegan options. Was very excited to see a vegan pizza as they seem hard to come by around here, but unfortunately I would not recommend it. The lasagna on the other hand was impressive. Would benefit from a separate vegan pasta option and some vegan side options eg. Garlic bread.

Great vegan options - Edit
We had Canarian potatoes, vegan pizza, and ratatouille. Pizza was average but ratatouille was 10/10. Highly recommend. Vegan options clearly labelled on the menu, however, the vegetable lasagna was not vegan when we went there, it's marked as vegan on the menu but when we asked we got told it has egg in the pasta sheets.

Vegan Options but beware... - Edit
A lovely spot for a bite to eat. Found it on our amble along the coast. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. A fair amount of vegetarian and vegan options available, alongside meat/fish options, but be mindful to check that the items marked vegan actually are. I was about to order the lasagna (marked vegan) but luckily was told the pasta was made with egg. Had the ratatouille instead, this was delicious and portion size was for me, huge. The Canarian "wrinkled" potatoes were so good, 1 portion was enough for 2 persons. If we were staying in the area we would definitely return.

Italian restaurant and pizzeria offering a few vegan options. I tried the vegan pizza, with tomato, aubergines, mushrooms, spinach, and tofu. It was a bit bland, but I improved it with some extra olive oil, salt and pepper. Thin crust, well cooked veggies.

Nice place but bechamel sauce is too sweet - Edit
Great to see 'vegetarian food' advertised on the front of the restaurant. This is a nice place with friendly staff and good service. The vegetarian section of the menu is quite extensive and several of the dishes are vegan or can be made so.
Read moreWe ate here several times and can highly recommend the mushrooms in hot garlic oil and the sautéed vegetables with tofu and mushrooms. The fresh vegetables with brown rice was good too (and less boring than it sounds).
The restaurant makes a real effort by using soy milk in the béchamel sauce for several dishes including lasagne. Unfortunately, however, they use sweetened soy milk (unsweetened seems hard to find on the island) which to our taste ended up making the sauce, and the dish, too sweet. We did point this out and encourage them to use unsweetened soy milk but don't know whether anything changed subsequently.
Pros: Nice restaurant, good service, friendly staff, Excellent food, generous portions
Cons: Dishes with bechamel sauce are too sweet
