Was not impressed

I got the teriyaki tofu. It wasn’t totally bad but I will not be coming back for more to be honest. There is just better vegan food out there than this.

Just OK

Good place for a quick bite. Not a place I would revisit.

Pros: Vegan options, Fast service

Cons: Not best tasting food, Portions smaller than expected for price.

So-so

I've eaten it a couple times. The yum sauce is good, but there are better options out there.

Not Very Good

I had high hopes considering I did somewhat enjoy this cafe when I was in Portland. However, the food was pretty bad. My whole family did not like our food expect for one non vegan member who had a cheese quesadilla. My food also had to be remade since there was a miscommunication about whether sour cream was vegan. I would never go back or recommend this place.

Amazing sauce

Used to go here for dinner twice a week, it's that good. Just a whole bunch of veggies and rice mixed together with their sauce. The chilean zucchini stew is excellent. The seasoned tofu topping is the best accompaniment to that - adds a little spicy crunch to that soupiness.

Pros: Garlicky sauce

Cons: The tempeh skewer was too sweet

Not so Yumm

Ordered the tempeh skewers. They were raw inside, with the outside seared. I asked if they could cook them a bit more, and they said they could not bring anything back into the kitchen. These would be OK as take out if you were planning to cook them at home, especially if you wanted something to grill. If you eat there, order something else

Pros: Has at least one vegan item.

Cons: Tempeh is undercooked.

Rice and Beans

Convenient location from the convention center. Delicious and quick rice and beans bowls for a cheap price. Has vegan and non-vegan options. Coming back for bbq tempeh on a skewer.

Pros: inexpensive, quick service

Give it a try

Yumm! Sauce is one of the most addictive substances on earth. Proceed with caution. I usually get the Hot N Jazzy bowl. The tofu has a weird springy texture, but sometimes I add it any way. The food has the fresh, bright flavors that I strongly prefer. I could eat here everyday.
The service is great! I forgot to say vegan for a bowl once. They were gracious about it and just made me a new one. For vegans, they'll substitute extra avocado for the cheese and cream, at no charge! They have other substitutions too, but I always stop listening at avocado. They have online ordering and serve beer and wine. Also, check out their specials. Right now there is an $8 Bowl and Brew.
All said, this is a solid bet for the downtown veg crowd. Eat here.

Pros: Yumm! Sauce, Service, Fast

Cons: Bowls are all very similar, You have to specify vegan, Chocolate dipped cookies are not vegan
