Ummmm, fine? - Edit
Cafe Yumm is a small-ish chain, with reliable vegan options. But it's just kinda underwhelming. Fine, and in a convenient location to the University of Oregon, but not a place I go out of my way to go to.
Read moreIt's vegan and vegetarian friendly, but there are better options in town. I occasionally go here when I don't have the time to go back over to the west side for Cornbread Cafe.
Pros: vegan options
Cons: uninspired food

Good for a quick bite - Edit
Many options, nothing super special but filling and good. Double check with the cashier though, I got a zucchini stew and they gave me butter with my bread even though it was advertised as vegan.

Vegan options but just okay - Edit
Healthy vegan options, but not better than what could be made at home for less $

Great find! - Edit
Driving through the area and got hungry. Cafe Yumm was a vegan option. Great food! An avocado salad with barbecued tofu and tempeh skewers. The food really hit the spot!

Ho hum - Edit
I wish I could give a higher review, but the vegan options here are limited. More of the same old beans and rice without much excitement. I good option when nothing else is available but, in Eugene, there is always something else available.

Love Cafe Yumm - Edit
Been to a few different locations and its always consistent and delishious. Tofu skewer is so good, makes vegan bentos, bowls, burritos, has one vegan GF cookie as well.

Quick and Easy! - Edit
Cafe Yumm was surprisingly pretty good. The girl taking our order was super nice and helpful, double checked with the chefs to make sure my order could be made vegan, and also gave us multiple samples. I got the reuben and that was good, but I'll always love me a reuben! The portions were pretty small though, so if you're extra hungry, I would suggest ordering the chili with some chips! If you're in a crunch for time or just want something easy, this is definitely your place.

consistent and delicious - Edit
I was confident I'd find Cafe Yumm completely boring, but after a dozen visits, this place has become a family staple.

Well done!

Over it; staff talked about snot in food - Edit
This location used to be my go-to location when going to a Yumm! I think I am over it for good. When eating there close to closing one night, the staff was talking w someone who had a takeout order, later found out she was a co-worker who was off. They were discussing all too loud the disgusting, vile and illegal manners of retribution they have used in the past when customers [censored] them off. I had sent back my bowl bc they messed it up (not too uncommon there). I had to yell over that we were eating food and didn't want to hear about them putting spit or snot in people's food. I'd talked to the GM of all the Yumm!s, Dave, before about issues at the Willamette location, about them not wanting to remake a vegan order and merely wiping out the cheese and sour cream w remnants still there.
Read moreLuckily it is very easy to make rice and beans at home and I don't have to go to a Yumm! ever again.
Pros: creative sauce
Cons: shady practices by staff, not the first time, No Mas
