Great place - Edit
Today we had a great late lunch. The risotto took a while but the owner told us and we had all the time. While waiting we got some really nice olives and little patato's with rosemary. The risotto itself was worth the wait

Amazing brunch in Old Lyon - Edit
Good location and the brunch menu was amazing. Fresh fruits and delicious savory plates on offer. Will be coming back another day. I recommend making a reservation to make sure they are open, their opening hours aren't clear. Friendly team too!

Moment plaisant ! - Edit

Prix menu correct.

Cute place, ok food - Edit
The place is lovely and the owner was very nice, but the food wasn’t as good as I expected reading the other comments.
Read moreThe “foie gras” starter didn’t taste like much, thankfully there were pickled onions to brighten everything up. It was served with also tasteless crisp bread, which I guess was gluten free.
The main dish was a vegetable and tofu mafé, a dish from west Africa usually made with a delicious peanut sauce. The dish I had was good but wasn’t peanuty at all, so It creates disappointment about what I expected when ordering. The plate was very filling though, mostly because the rice was in large quantity.

It's a lovely place - Edit
Nice place with lovely service, the food was tasty but somehow not as filling as I hoped for. But I guess it depends on the changing menu. The food is very healthy. Bit pricey for the amounts but I guess I understand that it takes more time to prepare these really fresh dishes. The chocolate mousse was amazing.

Delicious - Edit
Vegan cafe with a seasonal menu. We had the fixed price which was four courses (soup, starter, main course and choice of dessert) and it was delicious. I’m now very full!

I really love this place. Service is friendly and the food felt really wholesome. It’s opposite a beautiful old church.

Delicious food, nice atmosphere - Edit
I ate here on a cool October night and opted to eat outside. Had a wonderful dinner, nothing pretending to be fake meats, just good creative veggie dishes.

Tastes like a homemade, healthy vegan meal - Edit
I had the menu which came with soup, faux gras, a big plate of mafe with squash and smoked tofu, and choice of dessert (I had chia pudding). It was all so good and not too salty. If I were a local I'd probably come here every time the menu changed :)

Great experience - Edit
The food was delicious, and the waitress was more than friendly. The restaurant is not very big, but has a really nice atmosphere. I went for dinner and had the main dinner, then a raw chocolote dessert (absolutely stunning) and a (generous) lapacho infusion.

We Keep Returning - Edit
Their menu changes constantly, so there’s always something new to try. While the food is better on some days than others, the place is really cute, the staff is friendly, and everything is 100% cruelty free.

Very cozy - Edit
Cosy restaurant, small and intimate. One guy was doing everything (service and kitchen), but everything went surpringly smoothly and the service was very quick. It did mean that there wasn't a great deal to choose from on the menu, but for us that wasn't a problem at all. We were well fed and the price was reasonable (the set menu was €25 and for that you had pretty much everything on the menu!). Nice local beers as well.

Very friendly atmosphere, delicious raw vegan food - Edit
We enjoyed our tasting course a lot last August - it was super yummy and refreshing. Chef was very friendly and explained how all food is prepared (because we were asking lots of questions!). We even took take away to enjoy the food during our travel (it was not easy to find a vegan place in Lyon, especially in August).

Bio y vegano - Edit
Hay pocos platos y la comida es casera del día. De sabor está muy bueno, producto de proximidad y de temporada y buena atención. Por mi parte, faltaría un poco de proteína vegetal. Muy recomendable!

The dishes are honestly very good and the staff is very nice. However the restaurant is rather small and so I would recommend booking a table as it can get pretty crowded sometimes.

The food here was very yummy! The staff were very lovely and helpful in translating the menu for us. The food was out to us quick and tasted absolutely delicious! It’s a small little cafe with only a few tables in a nice area of Lyon. Highly recommend

At least they tried - Edit
Really want to give more points as they were so nice, but nothing was really good. Service was a bit unorganised, but we didn't mind as they told us in the beginning we have to wait for 30min until we get served. So that's ok.
Read moreBut I expected the well presented food as shown on the pictures and that was not the case at all. Really small portions and just thrown on the plate.
So last hope was the taste but it was disappointing. No flavours at all.
I don't know if that day the chef was missing in the kitchen or something else went wrong but I guess I won't come again.

Nice little café - Edit
The Café Vert is well located, near the Vieux Lyon. As it was sunny, we sat on the terrace which only has a handful of seats. My friend and I had a menu (starter/dish and dish/dessert) with a juice and a smothie. Everything was good. We had the sandwich club which was raw and delicious. The lemon pie was more a lemon no-cheesecake, but tasty all the same.
Read moreThe only downside was the long wait. Maybe we arrived at the wrong time. Other clients coming after us were served timely.
Pros: Good food, raw and cooked, Nice setting
Cons: Long wait, Tiny place, few seats
