hands down, best vegetarian restaurant in Kiev

Good menu, most dishes can be made vegan. My omnivore friends and family loved everything there

Pros: tasty, seasonal menu, easy to find, very normal looking interior

Cons: Most of the desserts are non-vegan

Excellent Food, Fast and Attentive Service

I visited this place on my first evening in Kiev. Easy to walk to from Bessarabia Market Area. I was warmly welcomed. From the quite limited menu options, I ordered Indian Dal soup, Quinoa, and Tofu+Spinach Fritters. Presentation of the dishes was excellent and so was the taste. However, the portions were quite small and compared to other vegan restaurants, prices are high. But the ambience is great. I will eat here again.

Pros: Easy to get to, Great food

Cons: Limited menu options

The cosiest veg restaurant I've been to

Loved the atmosphere there. Learned a little bit of Ukrainian while reading a children's book. So cozy and makes you wanna stay there a while. The staff were very friendly and agreed to veganise a vegetarian dish for me which is always a big plus. My salad was tasty, and they had my fav milk oolong tea. Will come back again for a proper meal sometime in the future:)

Pros: Non vegan options can be veganised, amazing decor

Cons: Quite far from the centre

Cafe Imbir - calm atmosphere during supper

Together with my two friends we visit Cafe Imbir couple of days ago.
The ordered food was super tasty (for all of us) and we found it very well prepared. I would totally recommend to visit this place not only for unique food experience but also to enjoy the interesting interior.
Also, the dishes were beautifully presented on a plates.

The staff was very kind to us with explaining the content of the dishes in english.

Pros: tasty food, well prepared food, magical atmosphere

Cons: small portions

Spiritual and classy place

This is a clean and classy place, mostly men in suits eating there when I was there on a weekday at lunch time. Imbir had an air about it, which was a little too spiritual for me,... even though I usually like this stuff. The bhajan music was a bit loud and repetitive, though also calming.
Menu isn't labeled that well for vegans, although there are a number of options. Kind waitstaff spoke English which helped. I just had the fresh rolls, smoothie, and a juice. Rolls were good and served with a peanut sauce. The wi-fi worked well and I'd go back again to try more options and get some work done.

Pros: Juice and smoothies, Raw options, Spiritual environment

Good food, nice atmosphere

This is a really relaxed place, which was nice after a long day. It's not 'fancy', but it's on the nicer end of the spectrum.

They have an English menu, which is a huge plus. Also, free wi-fi. Compared to other places in the city, though, this place is a bit pricy, even more than places that I found to be nicer and more delicious.

The food was really good, though. I had a seitan stew with mashed potatoes & the soup of the day. Everything was great. I'd definitely go here again.

Interestingly, EVERYTHING is for sale in here. The books on the shelves, some of the decorations, etc. You could buy anything you saw.

Pros: All-veg, English menu, Relaxed

Cons: A bit pricy
