Die Porridges sind sehr lecker und sättigend. Den Kaffee in den eigenen Becher zu bekommen ist kein Problem. Leider gibt es keine Sitzgelegenheiten. Preise sind ok.

Im Haferkater gibt es leckere vegane Snacks wie Wraps, Stullen und Porridge. Dazu vieles aus der Kaffeemaschine, natürlich auch mit Hafermilch möglich. Die Snacks sind in der Regel sehr lecker und das Team sehr freundlich. Barista Qualität des Kaffees variiert je nach Tagesform, in der Regel aber ganz lecker.

Makes various types of porridge. We had the bärenkater with berries and chopped banana. I would've preferred it to be mashed banana so it could give some taste to the porridge.
Read moreI like the porridge a bit sweeter myself, but there is the apfelkater version (among others) which I'm sure would accommodate. And there is the option to add sugar yourself, which is nice.
Big portion is not that big. Quite fast in serving.

Vegan food at the central station! - Edit
I like that the Haferkater chain has lots of locations at train stations (also in Dresden and Berlin, for example). This way, you know where to go if you need a quick vegan bite (or a coffee) at the station!
Read moreExcept for porridges (the vegan ones are labelled), they also have a small selection of vegan cakes and wraps. However, my personal favourite is still the Naschkater porridge with banana, chocolate, and maple syrup. :)
Please note that this is a tiny place that offers only takeaway.
