Small pizza place with wood fired stone oven offering four vegan pizzas. You can create your own as well.

Yummy - Edit
You could add what you wanted to the pizzas and they had a vegan pesto which I added to mine. The base was nice and they were generous with the toppings.

Best Pizza in Chiang Mai - Edit
Some days you just crave something that isn’t rice or noodles. And the perfect option for those meals is pizza. But not just any pizza. A sourdough base, cooked carefully in a wood-fired brick oven. Say hello to By Hand Pizza. We went for the Green Veggie pizza. Although I wouldn’t usually choose a non-tomato sauce base, this sounded too good. Pesto, eggplant, olives and mozzarella topped with ricotta once it came out of the oven. Absolutely perfect. Also, since they seemed to have perfected the art of fermenting sourdough, they’ve also started making their own fermented drinks. A refreshing kombucha pairs perfectly with the sour bite of the pizza.

Price adjustable by adding or removing - Edit
Love that you can both add AND remove items on a pizza and the price adjusts! I’ve never seen that before. Example:
Read moreMozzarella (dairy) /- 45bt.
So making a pizza vegan by removing that also means I don’t pay for the animal product.
Well, there’s no vegan cheese replacement, but the pizza was good anyways.

Real Wood-fired Oven - Edit
Much ado about nothing is my thinking after dining here. It's good, but did not blow my mind or knock my socks off. Not worth having to wait 10-15 minutes for a table, as many were.
Read moreWe had the vegan veggie pie (no cheese). The homemade dough is fluffy & crunchy in all the right places and perfectly cooked in the wood-fired oven. However, it is a bit bland and needs more salt. Needs more tomato sauce too. The toppings were adequate, but we should have asked for tomatoes as an additional topping.
Reasonably priced. Serves beer and wine. The house red was very good and delightfully dry.
It gets extremely busy after 7pm, so be prepared to wait or leave. Also, even though the place was full, we were fortunate to be seated immediately. It still took 50 minutes after ordering to get our pizza. The servers are kept very busy, but they still did an excellent job.
Pros: 4-5 Vegan pizza options , Reasonably priced
Cons: Possible long wait for seating , No salads or appetizers

Disappointing vegan options - Edit
The dough is great and I’m sure the non vegan pizzas are aswell; the vegan options though were very boring. I can go to any pizzeria and order a pizza without cheese, it would be the same. I thought they put something to make up for the absence of cheese like vegan cheese, cashew cream, mushroom paste, miso… but they didn’t. For that, roughly 200tbh is way too expensive.

Woodfire oven pizza - Edit
They prepare the pizza in front of your eyes in a woodfire oven. The restaurant has 4 vegan options. I ordered the umamj dream without eggplant. I love shiitake but not sure yet how I liked in on pizza. Anyway, the dough was super fluffy and the crust crunchy. Loved it.
Read moreThe restaurant gets busy pretty quickly so make sure to come early. Otherwise you have to wait in a big line.

Shiitake mushrooms in pizza always good. - Edit
We was here once and tried 2 vegan options for pizza. Umami vegan pizza was good, but not amazing. Shiitake mushrooms in pizza was delicious and interesting. Its a pros that pizzas baked on view - you can see baking process.😄Also this place outdoor siting and little bit noisy (was here in end 2019).

4 vegan options - Edit
Had the vegan umami pizza. Flavor was good, but pizza kinda fell apart. Wetness from sauce, cooked mushrooms, and the pesto was too much for the dough to hold up.

delicious pizza - Edit
the restaurant is super cute. its an open space and with the stone oven being outside, you see how they make your pizza. they have a whole vegetarian and vegan section. unfortunately they don't have vegan cheese, so the vegan oizza is the toppings without cheese. its still delicious though! the prices are quite high, so its rather a treat than a daily meal. the ambience at night is quite nice

Bustling atmosphere, good veg options. - Edit
This place gets super busy as it's obviously very popular. Lots of options for veggies and vegans on the menu. They stick to what they do best as there is only pizza on the menu. Filling portion size. Made fresh in pizza stove .Would go again!

So-so - Edit
I ordered one of the vegan options. The pizza base is ok, freshly grilled with wood fire. But the toppings are disappointing. Taste too much like ready made tomato paste that can be found in Tesco. It tastes so strong that the other ingredients just taste like nothing. I personally would not recommend it

Came here twice while in Chiang Mai, pizza was great! They don't have anything else on the menu, besides drinks, so make sure pizza is what you want. Large veggie selection, and a decent sized vegan menu. Pizzas are cooked outside with you in their wood-fire oven, excellent crust, and decent size. Worth a visit!

Great Pizza! Nice Spot! - Edit
Came here for a little bit of change from all the delicious Thai food. We were craving some pizza and have been disappointed before with western food in Thailand. I'm looking at you Vegan Heaven!
Read moreBut this place is great, a little pricey compared to local Thai spots, but it was really good.
Crust was cooked and not too thin. Sauce and toppings were very tasty.
There is also other condiments so you can add chilli or herbs.
Good find would definitely go again.
Would be nice for more variety of pizzas out of the 4, 3 of them had barely that much variance
I tasted the Vegan Veggie and was very very happy and satisfied!
Pros: 4 choices of pizza, condiments, speedy service
Cons: not enough topping variance

Amazing vegan pizza!!! - Edit
We ordered the green veggie pizza and the umami pizza. SO good! The base is really nice and the pesto and all ingredients were so good. They don't have a vegan mozzarella or cheese but we Didn't even care coz it was good regardless! I think there was 4 vegan ones to choose from. But you can add or take away any ingredients from any of the pizzas! YUM!
