Beste vegane Auswahl - Edit
In diesem Restaurant wird jeder Veganer und auch Nicht-Veganer glücklich. Die Auswahl ist riesig, man kann sich kaum entscheiden. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und hat uns gut beraten. Ich kann es nur weiterempfehlen.

You get small but good burgers for high prices but they have a seasonal changing bowl-menu, satisfying sizes and prices and some of them a really good. I loved the kale-bowl with sausages and mustard (tipical german dish).

I have been a vegetarian/vegan for 5 years now and I had given up hope for the perfect veg-burger, but Bunte Burger delivered the most delicious burger I have ever had, hands down! It blew past all "traditional" burgers I ever have had, I wish I could eat those burgers for morning, lunch and dinner. If you have the chance do try one of their amazing burgers, you won't be disappointed!

The Bunte Burger is as the name implies a burger restaurant in Köln Ehrenfeld nearby the subway station Leyendeckerstraße. The place is very roomy, it offers seating for bigger groups and in contrast to most vegan restaurants in cologne it feels more "fancy". The burgers and fries are good but to be honest don't really taste very special. Considering the price it's probably not for everyone.

I have given Bunte Burger a few chances already. After the first time I rated the food okay tasting, but not necessarily something I needed to go out for because I would prefer my own cooked food more.
Read moreBut because it is one of the fewer all-vegan restaurants in Cologne my friends wanted to go there, so I gave it 3 more chances. Me and my one friend really didn't like the American burger. The mayo was a bit bland, it was a rather small portion and it mostly consisted out of mushrooms (which is no problem in general, but not what was expected).. but the fries were nice.
I have later on also tried the Döner, which I liked the most from the menu so far, but it is very overpriced if you consider, how cheap and delicious vegan Döner can be (e.g. in Leipzig or Berlin).
I really liked the desserts so far, but it's just not enough for me to give Bunte Burger a 5th chance (which were already more than intended).

Burger was quite good, though the patty was very thin and so it was not huge at all for a 10 € burger. Furthermore, a side (e.g. french fries) is additionally charged with 5 € (!), so for me it seems just to be a rip off of vegans.

My girlfriend and I are both vegan, and went here for dinner this evening. We had a couple of beers, the Italian burger, a döner, truffle fries, a salad, and chocolate mousse for dessert. Everything was delicious!
Read moreThe wait staff was helpful and friendly. There were English menus available, but in addition, the staff spoke excellent English. Also, unlike most places we visited, they accepted credit cards (my Mastercard debit card worked, anyway).
We would definitely be happy to eat here again!

Read moreMy Pulled Burger was undercooked, not tasty and boring. My friends burger, the Italian Burger was atleast well cooked/grilled but offers no ''wow''. They were both so small that we have to go for a falafel sandwich afterwards.
The beer could be tasty, but it wasn't cold enough.
I love to support my local vegan shops and restaurants, but it is no joy to visit Bunte Burger for me.
