Amazing food but some downsides to the place - Edit
High quality food with some twists on staple Indian curries! The place is definitely one of the hip dining hotspots with all up- and downsides that come with it: Fast reliable service, excellent food as a plus. Loud music, fashionable but uncomfortable seating and disposable tableware as minus!

Indian street food, beer and cocktails. - Edit
Lively place offering Indian street food, craft beer and cocktails. All the cocktails are vegan! We ordered some far far while we were waiting and it was exactly what you want when you are drinking a nice cold beer. We also ordered the Vegan combo for 2 (£33), it included Sweetcorn Chevdo, Okra Fries, Sprout Bhajis, Bhel Puri, Raghda Pethis, Chole Saag. Everything was really tasty but felt like way too much food for two people. You definitely need to be hungry if you order it. The bhajis, sweetcorn chevo and okra fries were a particular highlight. The other dishes were tasty but were a little too similar to each other in taste and texture.

Expensive and disappointing - Edit
Dunno where all these other reviewers went. Done up like a cross between a Wagamama and a school canteen, with stupidly loud music, the vibe didn't begin well. We spent £45 on a few side dishes and a couple of beers and felt robbed. Wouldn't return for even one of the items we had. Environmentally catastrophic too - don't have compostable plates you idiots, have plates you wash and reuse. Completely beyond me how it seems so popular. Any Indian restaurant would be cheaper and vastly superior.

Exceptionally tasty - Edit
Went during pandemic pre-tiers but post-lockdown when people could eat in pairs but not more than 1 household etc etc. The menu was limited but we were so happy with everything that came, and it was super quick too!

Amazing Indian street food - Edit
This place offers vegetarian Indian street food with many vegan options. You can choose from a variety of small bowls, so perfect for sharing. I can absolutely recommend the okra fries. You are mostly seated on long tables and order and pick up your food yourself. Although it's compostable I wish the food wouldn't be served in disposable bowls with single-use cutlery.

Relaxed bar/restaurant with amazing vegetarian Indian street food. We love this place. The food is interesting and tasty as well as being well priced. The drinks are great too with a very large selection of beers as well as lovely g&t and soft drinks like lassie. A great weekend chill out and suitable for a casual dinner or a messy night out.

Great Indian street food! - Edit
Bundobust is great as it is a bit different than your standard Indian, its street food, and its quick and its TASTY!!! They don't have your standard curry and rice and what they do is incredible. You HAVE to try the okra fries and Vada Pavings.
Read moreTheir beer selection is next level and their combos menu helps you try everything without the faff of having to choose what to actually eat, which is deffo the hardest part.
The decor is great and the service is always friendly.
The one down side is everything comes in single use containers, as is the cutlery.
Pros: Order and pay at bar, Super fast and fresh
Cons: Single use tableware

Crazy good - Edit
Nothing like your standard Indian restaurant. Staff are darlings and food is amazing. Had the vegan sharer for 2 and it was more than enough food for us both. Will always come back here when in Manchester.

Although everything is made from plants and renewable materials which are compostable, I wish food and cutlery was not single use. I think reusable crockery and cutlery would be better for the environment!

Authentic Indian tasting food - Edit
Loved this place!! Had a lovely vegan menu, I opted for the vegan tasting platter (or something along those lines) and got a great variety of food to taste everything. So much food we had to take some home with the staff were happy to pack up. Cool decor and on the casual side so great atmosphere. They also have loads of speciality tropical cocktails and beers. The okra fries are incredible!! Clearly labelled vegan options. Honestly can’t rate this place enough! Best Indian food I’ve had since I visited Sri Lanka.
