A very good vegan restaurant. We had a shareable starter plate, tartufo spaghetti, pasta carbonara, and a beyond meat burger. Everything was delicious and the service was friendly. The only thing we didn’t enjoy was that the restaurant was located on a very busy road and sitting outside meant that there were constant loud traffic noises, emergency vehicle sirens, and exhaust fumes. Keep this in mind when choosing whether to sit inside or out!

Came here for brunch and were so impressed. The service was lovely, atmosphere and music were great, all the food was divine and well-priced. The location is fantastic too. We wished we could’ve come again. My non-vegan friend was raving about it!

We came here twice during our stay and the food was delicious. Drinks are nice and strong too! Highly recommend to all vegans this is a great spot with lots of choices you’ll be spoiled! Also a massive shout out to the waiter who ran after me as I left my bag!

Vegan Versions of Italian Classics - Edit
After traveling in Italy for ten days with limited vegan options, I spent my last night in Rome and finally got to go to a fully vegan restaurant. I was ecstatic by all of the vegan options. They have vegan versions of all of the Italian food I had been watching other people eat on my trip. Staff were friendly and we sat outside, which was lovely.

Read moreWe had 1 pasta alla Gricia, which is fresh pasta(spaghetti), vegan cheek and vegan cheese and 1 pasta Cacio e Pepe, which is spaghetti with a lot of vegan creamy cheese and black pepper.
Then we had 1 vegan grilled mix, which was one sausage and one burger both by Beyond meat, 2 slices of vegan bacon with bird beans homemade potatoes and mix of salad with avocado and small tomatoes.
He really liked everything especially the beyond meat burger and the cheek. He said he couldn't get they were vegan if not known.
We enjoyed the lunch and we were too stuffed to have desserts, but we'd like to point out the grilled mix is served for 2 people, and it costs as for 2, but the portion is for just 1 person. That's the only sad point we noticed, all the rest was really cool.

the space is very welcoming, and the staff is very friendly. Filtered water is free. We had a suppli di riso nero as a starter and it was delicious! My husband ordered an incredible pinsa 4 formaggi and I had a wonderful Pinsa Tartufata. Everything was incredible! Unfortunately we were too full and didn't try the desserts which looked great! Who knows, maybe on your next visit to Rome! :)

We went to Buddy Veggy several times during our stay in Rome and this was our favorite spot to eat during our trip. As vegans used to only a few options on any menu, we were overwhelmed with all the choices! We tried something from every part of the menu - chocolate hazelnut pancakes, a tofu sandwich (a breakfast sammie with protein scramble), lasagna, bruschetta, pizza primavera, a margarita cocktail, a pumpkin soup (with a stellar vegan Parmesan crust), coffee and matcha, and others. Everything was delicious and the staff were so kind.
