Best vegan place in Rome - Edit
I went here for pancakes, and they had many gluten free and vegan options (as I am both). Delicious and nourishing food with an extensive menu. I would 100% recommend to come here for breakfast, lunch, or dinner!

Delicious typical Italian Pasta - Edit
One of the best restaurants we’ve been in Italy so far. We had Pasta Cacio e Pepe and Puttanesca and they were extremely good. Also they had great Appetizers, Fresh Juices and a lovely atmosphere. We can fully recommend this place.
Read moreEdit: we’ve been there 3 times on our Rome trip and every single dish was so delicious. Especially the pinsa with grilled vegetables.

Good - Edit
The place is good and staff gently. A little bit pricy but because the main audience is tourists and also the location. Went there twice.

Our favourite place in Rome - Edit
Really yummy food, we went several times and tried the pastas, the pinsa, lasagna and some starters and they were all really good.
Read moreOnly thing that could be better was the grecia and carbonara sauces were not that creamy, I think they just use cornstarch to thicken them. Probably healthier, but less flavourful than if they use soy/coconut/oat cream.

My new favourite restaurant in Rome - Edit
The food here blew me away. The spaghetti puttenesca was amazing, and a vegan tiramisu was a work of art. I'll be coming back here, of course, but the challenge will be to order something different. I dream about that puttenesca and tiramisu!

Fantastic!! - Edit
We had the nuggets, lasagne, woodpecker pizza, brownie and tiramisu. And a bottle of white wine that the waiter recommended. Everything was FANTASTIC I can’t fault it. Thoroughly enjoyed the tiramisu and highly recommend the restaurant and everything I ate. Also the guy next to me had the bruschetta with avocado and I was very jealous it looked amazing 😻

LOVE this place! - Edit
I had some of the best vegan food I’ve had in my entire life here. Our server was so kind. I wish we had gotten his name. He recommended the pizza as an appetizer, and it was delicious! We also had the buddha bowl and cheesecake for dessert! I love the ambience and atmosphere. They had some really cute pro animal rights stickers in the bathroom. Whether you're vegan or non-vegan, this is such a special place with amazing food.

Delicious. Worth a visit or two! - Edit
We had a walk to the Vatican and Buddy Veggy was on the way back to the hotel. We had a mushroom pizza, a starter of a rice ball with a cheesy sauce in a tiny pan (can’t remember the name) but they were both delicious. We had oat cappuccino’s and then the vegan hazelnut choc pancakes for afters. They were also delicious. Cannot fault it. Would go again. Friendly staff. We sat outside and there was no-one smoking which was a blessed relief. I didn’t think it was overly expensive, it was priced just right for what we had. Loved the whole experience!

Trip saver! Favorite spot in Rome. - Edit
Favorite place I tried while visiting Rome. I admit I didn't do my homework before coming to the city and did not know about the reservation culture at all the vegan restaurants I wanted to try. There was one night I was solo parenting and got turned away from several spots. The staff at Buddy Veggy were AMAZING! They saw me late at night, pushing a stroller, and recognized my self inflicted struggles - they made it an awesome experience for me and my son. Top it off with amazing food. The puttanesca was full of flavor and my son, who must of been starving, finished all his carbonara. We ended up coming back later that same week (with a reservation) because we tried other spots that just didn't stack up to Buddy’s atmosphere and menu. Wish I could try more of the menu.

Questo ristorante (non è una catena ma un vero ristorante indipendente) è delizioso.

Buzzing restaurant with delicious food - Edit
We hadn't yet had pizza in Rome so we got a potato sausage pizza and a Caesar salad which came with some seitan cutlet strips. Both were delicious!! The pizza's crust was really really good and the toppings were very tasty. The salad's dressing was creamy but still relatively light and really added a nice balance. Also the portions were HUGE. A great experience overall.

Flavorless and oily - Edit
Low quality food with way too much fat and too little flavor. It's basically a meatless tourist trap. You'd do much better getting food at a nearby Carrefour supermarket, and it'll cost you much less as well.

Good vegan fare in city centre - Edit
We had the nuggets, pinsa and chocolate brownie pudding.
Read moreThe pinsa were tasty and the brownies were lovely. Would definitely come back and try more pinsa.
It would be good if there were some sides like a side salad to go with the pinsa and there was no ice cream in the menu.
The nuggets were standard quorn style nuggets so probably wouldn't order again.
Pros: Pinsa , Great choice of dessert

I had the Gricia Vegan, wine, and the crostata for dessert plus a cafe (which is espresso sized, not an 8oz US cup of coffee)
