Everything we tried here was delicious and all vegan. Loved it and do not skip dessert! It was light and a perfectly portioned way to end the meal.

My mum ordered the buddy bowl and 3 ingredients were missing and nobody told her, we realised once she started eating.
I had the vegan Cacio e Pepe , the sauce was very good but the pasta itself was overcooked and chewy.
Very little gluten free options.
I might come back to give it another chance, only because I live here. If I we’re a tourist, I would go to other restaurants.

We’ve eaten at a lot of places here in Rome and this place is definitely top 3. Haven’t had a lot of blow your mind food but this place did. We happened to be walking by and went in. Staff is super nice and passionate about being vegan. This restaurant didn’t come up on the feed because it’s technically 90% vegan I think they have one dish that’s god cheese. We got the nuggets, amazing. Then we split a mushroom pizza with truffles…need I say more and split the Cesar salad and couldn’t get enough. Food was honestly so good that we’re going back while we’re here only for a couple days.

Read moreMy experience there was simply bad. Slow and unfriendly service and the food was simply awful. I had the chicken burger for 14 EUR plus 2 EUR cover and it came with oilsoaked semicooked wedges. The burger itself was just a cheap breaded shnizel. The new burgers at McDonalds are better than this and cheaper. It is that bad! My partner had polpette which were cold and some flavorless cooked vegetables. I regret having spend any money here and would never ever return.

Had an okay meal here. Nothing was awe inspiring. Later when speaking to a local who is also vegan she told me that buddy’s had bad business practices and forces employees to work insanely long shifts.

We loved this place. Found it on our first night in central Rome using the HappyCow app. As far as I could tell this is all plant-based. The waiter was happy and enthusiastic about our menu choices. We each had a pizza and shared the best crispy falafels I’ve ever had. Nice dark decor makes for a good evening meal.

Solid vegan restaurant that has something for anyone! Worth it - Edit
Buddy's has an impressive international menu selection, we went back many times to make sure we tried enough of the offer. 7/10 dishes were great, 3 were not to our liking. They have À la carte and sometimes a set menu offering, I recommend to go with your own choices.

Amazing pizza. We ate the truffle pizza and the amatricana pizza, both of them were divine! Also, the waiter andre was supper nice and helpfull, and made us the perfect desert rhat wasnt on the manu (tiramisu cheesecake mix). Dont miss it if you are in rome!
