Best vegan pasta - Edit
We went here on the first night of my stay in Rome, we shared the bruschetta and as a main course we had carbonara pasta and truffle spaghetti. Everything was absolutely delicious. The bruschetta so light and just perfectly toasted, all the toppings were perfect for the bread. Refreshing, not too filling. The pasta, oh my god, so creamy and delicious. With vegan bacon. My mum, who isn’t vegan, said that if nobody would’ve told her it’s vegan, she’d never think this was all plant based. Personally, for me, the best carbonara and creamy spaghetti overall. Not just vegan. On the second night we went to a regular restaurant where I ordered a vegan pizza bread, but the experience wasn’t nearly as warming and inviting as at Buddy Veggy, so we decided to return there on our last evening the next day. Absolutely amazing experience, cannot recommended it enough.

Wir haben einmal gefrühstückt und einmal gebruncht, und das „Rührei“-Sandwich, die Pinsa, einen Obstsalat und einen Burger probiert. Die Auswahl ist wirklich riesig. Das Obst ist frisch, man kann zwischen verschiedenen Milchalternativen wählen, die Säfte sind frisch gepresst und das Personal total lieb. Man bekommt kostenloses Wasser an den Tisch und die Preise sind fair.

I got the cacio Pepe, dinghy pizza and my girlfriend got one of the red pastas. To drink we did watermelon spritzes. The food here was exceptional, don’t miss this place on your trip. Reservation recommended.

Best Vegan Brunch in Rome - Edit
After visiting this place, I've found what's my favorite meal. It's not breakfast, lunch nor dinner. It's brunch. I came here two days in a row and ordered exactly the same: the American Brunch. The bacon and the vegan omelette were really good! Loved the idea of the small portion of legumes in tomato sauce. The first day I got a carrot cake as dessert and the second I swapped the dessert for an Oreo tiramisù. The amount of food you get with the brunch is just right. There's a bit of everything, sweet and salty. The first day I got everything almost at the same time. The second day, I got the hot beverage and sweet after I finished the big plate (that's how I preferred it to be). The thing is I was never asked this. I would suggest asking the client if they want everything at once or first the salty stuff and then the sweets (I guess most people will prefer it like this). The staff was super friendly both days.

Wunderschöner Platz, unglaublich leckeres Essen, freundliche und hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter:innen! Ich bin begeistert! Es war sehr heiß, wir kamen eine Stunde vor der Schließung und bekamen sofort eine Flasche kaltes Wasser am Tisch. Hatten dann noch genug Zeit um in Ruhe auszusuchen und bestellen. Bräuchten länger beim Essen, dennoch niemand wirkte genervt oder ungeduldig. Am Ende noch paar nette Worte gewechselt, alle waren sehr freundlich und wir haben die beste Pinsa Italiens gegessen!

Last night we dined at Buddy after days (weeks!) of ordinary eating throughout Spain, France and now Italy. And we were very happy with the fare on offer. Highly recommend to anyone desiring some healthy eating - you’ll be happy I’m certain.

An oasis in a predominantly non vegan city - Edit
So glad we found this place, the food was amazing. The entire menu is 100% vegan with loads of choices. I had the Buddha bowl followed by tiramisu, my husband had the spaghetti carbonara followed by the hazelnut pissetta. Everything was gorgeous and very welcome as we had struggled to find anything vegan in Rome. Mid range price wise, service was excellent. Would highly recommend this place.
