This place is bustling with people by lunch time, and for good reason. Food is presented with class and tastes even better. Nice atmosphere and great staff!

Delicious Food and Relaxing Atmosphere - Edit
We turned up here around 9pm hoping they were still serving food and we were not disappointed. There was only space at the bar as we had not made a reservation but that was fine by us. They had at least 4 vegan main options on the menu plus a vegan dessert. We know nothing about wine so they recommended a really lovely red. We enjoyed it the first evening so much, we returned for lunch the next day. The second time we were wise to the 3 item sample menu which is at the very start of the English menu (they have a name for it but I've forgotten what it was) which we missed the previous night, which include a small portion of pasta/rice, salad and baked option and this filled us up. Otherwise you are looking at 8/9 eur for a pasta dish. This is the best vegan food we have had in Italy yet.

The place is an oasis in between the tourist crowd in Florence. We enjoyed a nice lunch in a place with lots of style, the food delicious. And there were so many options for vegans that it got difficult to choose!

The best food I had in Italy, no question in my mind. It was MY pleasure to eat here. Go for the 15 euro combo plate (you get three dishes on one plate). Sizes are very generous. I am still shook by how amazing this food was!

Great atmosphere and vegan pasta - Edit
We read so many good reviews about this place and were so happy we weren’t staying too far away. This is a beautiful bookshop that doubles as a fabulous restaurant with two sections and a peaceful courtyard in between. We were seated instantly by our lovely server with short hair. She recommended a fantastic wine paired with my tortellini. My husband had a delicious rum cooler cocktail. I ordered the vegan tortellini (which tasted slightly undercooked, maybe that’s how al dente should be) with a bean, tomato and potato salad (this was a lot of food), and my husband had a 4 cheese pasta with zucchini (can’t remember name).
Read moreVery delicious food and would absolutely go back, maybe even tonight! Must say the bread was a little stale (maybe this is how it’s served in Italy?) and could have been accompanied by some olive oil to dip.
Pros: Lots of vegan options , Excellent food , Very friendly server
Cons: No entrées , Slightly undercooked tortellini , Stale bread

The place is like a dream. You almost miss the entrance. From outside it looks like a bookstore.

Full of Locals - Edit
this restaurant was full of Italians which is usually a good sign. I loved the concept and the atmosphere here. You can order three portions of different items on the menu for €15 and considering the quality it was good value. We also loved the white wine that was recommended to us we wanted something local and the white we had perhaps went down a little too smoothly.

This was one of my favourite meals of the holiday. Most of the menu is vegan, and you can choose a salad, pasta and baked dish for €15. The quality was incredible and I just wish I could eat it all over again. I had avocado salad, potato and ginger tortelloni and baked flat bread with sweet potato and peanut sauce. Cool place set in a library of contemporary art

Amazing price / quality / quantity ratio! - Edit
We went here without reservation. They were going to be very full that night, but we came early so we had an hour and 15 minutes to eat. So if you go; go early or make a reservation. We went for their piatto unico dish; choose 3 dishes and pay only 15 euros for a plate fully stuffed with deliciousness! We both loved our food and I couldn’t even finish mine. So all in all a cheap, delicious and filling meal!

Lovely place in Firenze centre - Edit
On a rainy day, near the Gallerie degli Uffizi and other very touristic places, this gem is there. Even without a reservation we could find easily a table for lunch (we were only two). The menu has clearly labelled vegan options, and they were veeery good. We had the "piatto unico" option (can't remember the price but is was okay for what is was), mine with the "carpaccio di avocado", "maltagliati crema cavolfiore e menta" and the "millefoglie di patate dolci", my s/o's was with "carlofortina", "spaghettini ai carciofi speziati" and "fagottino di pane carasau con carciofi e cream di topinambur". Very good, very Italian also (at least for most of the products used) and not that expansive for the quality! Highly recommended!

I cannot wait to go back to Florence so I can have the meals I had all over again. I advised them my husband and I were vegan and they happily recommended a couple of dishes. My husband and I got a little bit of everything but their stuffed ravioli was an unforgettable foodie experience.

The food is very good and all made with love. If you have a small budget and wanna eat more than only fast-food this is the perfect place to go in Florence. The dishes are all creativ and are tasting really good, but some of them are a little bit to dry.... that's fine but not made for the Swabien taste. The staff is nice and polite, but does not speak englisch so well. The restaurant is also a small library and the atmosphere is just awesome.

Excellent chef, gorgeous, delicious food, many choices - Edit
We really, really liked this place! Definitely competes with the very best vegan restaurants in LA and San Francisco. It is an omnivore menu with 50% of the items vegan. Ingredients listed in Italian and English. You can get a large serving of any item or a little smaller serving with 3 items on a plate. I had a crepe, tortolloni (with a potato ginger filling), a fennel/orange salad (with some raisins), and my husband had a pasta with eggplant and tomato, a flat bread with yam and caramelized onion, and a green bean and pesto salad. With 3 glasses of wine, 2 waters, and one dessert it was only about 50 Euros. See photos of food and menu. We will try to get dinner there again!

The restaurant serves great food. It is vegetarian, and has a lot of vegan options. You can feel that they know how to cook vegetables, the dishes are tasty and original. I ate a really savoury coleslaw, tofu chicken massala, both recommended.

If you are vegan, and looking for a good place, go here! Mouth drooling good. Vegan options clearly marked on the menu, and so good it will make you a little pig in mud. Seitan Marsala was my favorite...or maybe the stuffed tortellini with tofu...oh, and their gin mule, oh and the ambience, wait and then the avocado salad...
