The staff was very sweet and it’s a very cute place. Perfect for vegetarians or carnivores. However, we let our server know before ordering anything that we are vegan. We ordered our food and a few minutes later she came back to ask clarifying questions that led us to believe she may have not understood our dietary restrictions. We let her know we don’t eat meat, eggs, or dairy. She said okay and went away. We were sat at the bar so we were watching them make all the food. They cook EVERYTHING in butter. Some of the cooks asked us again, a few times, if we wanted bacon crumbles, etc. When we did get our food we could see butter was on everything. We did end up eating our food, trying to avoid the more buttery portions, as we were in a rush and it would have simply gone to waste. The food was delicious but led to a tummy ache pretty quickly because of the dairy. Will for sure recommend to vegetarians but not for dairy-free eaters.
