Great

This is a wonderful little cafe that is such a cute place to sit- just like your front room. It has a very homely feel and the owners make you feel very welcome. The menu is not huge but the dishes are all 100% vegan and taste fabulous. Try the cheesecake, it's divine! Our only fault is that the portion sizes could be a little bigger.

Faultless Western Food in Bangkok

Truly fantastic food in a quaint cafe.
We both had 2 All day Vegan breakfasts. Bacon was too much like the real thing!
Lovely service with a smile. Not cheap but you get what you pay for. Highly recommended

Tasty but not perfect

I like the atmosphere and the fact that it's a vegan place (not just jay food). But it's quite expensive for Thailand, and only Western dishes are available. It does taste good though.

great vegan place

The moment I entered this place I was in love with the athmosphere - cozy and friendly. Food is super incredibly delicious. You can tell when someone put their heart, passion and dedication into something when you visit a place like Bonita Cafe and Social Club :) I will be going back for more during my stay in Bangkok

but pricey but delicious food and welcoming owners

The owner is a long distance runner which is inspiring and you can read about his work in a book inside the cafe and see pictures and publications throughout the cafe. They are very welcoming owners (his wife and him) and remembered us after our first visit. I recommend the green k smoothie, the pizza and the carbonara pasta. The dateorade is also great!!

Pros: so welcoming , delicious food, cats

Cons: pricey

Lovely and cozy place, like your friend's home :)

Love this place!
I wish to have this kind of cafe in my town so I can visit every week.
I had such a wonderful conversation with the Japanese owner - love his philosophy and style!

I was too full to try their main dishes, but their cafe latte was THE best I have tried!
Their desserts were not my style, but look forward to try other dishes when I return.

Highly recommend this place!

Pros: Wonderful service, Best cafe latte, Lovely atomosphere

Cons: dessert - not to my taste

yummy vegan food

This lovely cafe with a charming deco that reminds a grandma's house is run by awesome people, helpful and funny.
The menu is limited to a few but tasty options. Try their burger and the vegan cafes options.

Prices are a little high, but totally worth.

As sometimes they close the space for private groups, or the owners are not in town, is worth to check on their blog/facebook/call if they will be opened when you plan to go.

Should not be missed if you are a runner.

Pros: it's pure love there, excellent food

Cons: small, so you may need to share a table

Quality food

Very clean with friendly staff. Great range of western food and coffees. Veggie burger especially good. Not the cheapest place to eat but otherwise cannot fault it. Sugar free chocolate mousse was rich and delicious. Interior was old style American and very charming.

Pros: Taste, quality of ingredients, Decent sized potions, Ambience

Cons: Not cheap

Best vegan restaurant I've been. Best meat substitutes I've had.

Loved everything we ordered. The club sandwich was delicious. The vegan cheese spread was unique. Everything was very tasty.

Staff are very welcoming and nice.

So much variety for a Vegan restaurant, just excellent!

Pros: Plenty of vegan options that were all delicious. F

The friendliest mom&pop cafe

Unique homemade ingredients differentiate the cafe from typical Thai vegetarian/vegan restaurants. The decorations and interior are heart-warmimg that I can never get bored sitting there for the whole day. Both owners are not only very friendly but also inspiring, especially their story of running across USA.

Pros: Excellent food with reasonable price, Warm atmosphere , Friendly staff

Cons: Parking

Delicious!

Followed happy cow to this little place and was pleasantly surprised. It was not what I was expecting to find in Bangkok but it certaintly exceeded my expectations. I ordered the teriyaki burger and it was one of the best burgers I've ever had. Loved it so much that I travelled an hour out of my way to get it again only to find it was closed for a private function. Was dissapointed but no one's fault. I'll definitely head back their way if i'm in Bangkok again!

The best!

Along with perhaps May Veggie House, this is my favourite restaurant in Bangkok.

Neung, the owner, has clearly opened a vegan restaurant for all the right reasons. And all around the interior are indications of an anti animal farming stance. And what she's done is create a menu of home cooked vegan food to satisfy whatever cravings you might be having.

The teriyaki burger is delicious, the all day English breakfast is lovely, the club sandwich is filling. I unfortunately didn't have the time to try everything on the menu. But I met others in this very social restaurant who did. And never once was I, or anyone else that I encountered disappointed with what they received.

It's just home cooked vegan food, created with love. That's how it feels. My first stop when I'm next in Bangkok.

I love this place!

My mom is friends with the owners of this cafe, so I may be a little biased, but when I first came here a few weeks ago, I loved it! My favorite place to eat in Bangkok, as far as I know :) I loved that there was a little book shelf and chair so that you could read while you wait, and that it's completely decorated in a vintage style- even the bathroom! I really loved the hot dog I ordered, but I have to admit, everyone else's food looked so good that I tried a little bit of everything, haha. I love that there's raw options, and of course I can't wait to come back and try more things on the menu. On top of everything, the staff are extremely kind. If you like a cute cafe with lots of options and a friendly atmosphere, this is the place to go.

Probably my favourite vegan place in Bangkok

Spent enough time in Bangkok to visit most of the Bangkok happycow listings, but kept on getting drawn back to Bonita's particularly for breakfast / lunch. The menu isn't particularly extensive but anything I chose was so well prepared and delicious that it really didn't matter.

The decor is quirky and interesting, and the staff are all impossible to dislike. It's hard to stand out in a city with plenty of vegan options, but for me Bonita's really did. Can't wait to go back!

Best Vegan place in Thailand!

I went there a couple of time because the couple ( a Thai and a Japanese) who is in charge of this cute lovely charming restaurant/café is just so welcoming, so friendly, so nice. I actually miss them now, as I spoke a lot with them. I just turned vegan at the time, and it was so comforting to go someplace where you can actually eat everything. You know that feeling, right? It's easy to eat vegetarian in BKK but not always vegan. Anyways, I had a seitan burger there, the fries were amazing, and also the raw pasta (I discovered raw zucchini pasta and fel in Love!)
It's a slow food restaurant, so take your time, enjoy your drink (they import soymilk from the USA, the Silk Soymilk which is delicious).
One day, my BF was a bit sick so he had a nice warm soup made by the grandmother, was really good too...
It's really worth it, a bit more expensive than some other places but come one, the restaurant is so well decorated, in a nice vintage style, and the food is cooked with love (lots of love).
I can't wait to get back there! It remains one of the best vegan experience I had, especially in Thailand.

Pros: great and nice, warm people, really good food, GF and raw options, a bit of a vintage

Cons: it's far from Europe....

nice simple western food

bonita has a really lovely homely vibe when you walk in. it feels like a vintage shop, full of interesting nicknacks. the owners are very sweet and make you feel at home. we had a pumpkin soup which was a little bland....then a burger which was good, it came with nice potatoes and a salad which was well dressed. we also shared a plate of spaghetti with vegan carbonara sauce and mushrooms, this was nice. the vegan chocolate moose was very good for desert. it was made with almonds and dates and was sugar free.

Pros: wonderful owners, lovely homely feel

Cons: food was bland

Charming place!

I like this place so much! The atmosphere is great with friendly staff.
The burger is good, but don't go for it in your first visit, especially if you are not vegan (with much more options). It's simple... so you could have not the best first impression.
I've been there several times and I had the japanese curry, pancake, pizza, sandwich, burger, cheesecake, chocolate mousse, latte... and I recommend it all! :)
