not open - Edit
Was not open during hours stated on happy cow app, and they don't have a website to double check for times. Was very disappointed and had to find somewhere else to eat.

I had the baja tacos and they were delicious. Despite being crowded, the service was pretty quick. The people down the bar from me got the cauliflower bites and I'm definitely going to try those next time because they looked awesome.

A favorite in SLC! - Edit
We visited BoltCutter twice on our visit to SLC. Apparently, we didn't get the memo to order the nachos. However, we did get the quesadillas and burrito and both were really good. I loved the sour cream on top of the quesadillas. Prices were good, parking is a tad tricky. Highly recommend!

(My husband) Went for a conference last week and found this gem. My server was Johnny and was very helpful in suggesting great dishes. I went on two different days and this is what I had: cauliflower wings, Baja taco, chorizo taco, sin carne taco, tempeh bowl, quesadilla, nachos and a sin carne burrito. All of it was amazing! Planning a family trip for the summer and will be going there again!

best vegan food ive ever had - Edit
In our group we shared the nachos with the added jackfruit, that was so amazing, so so tasty. Then i ordered the burrito, for 8$, and you really get your moneys worth, huge burrito, it was one of if not best burrito I've ever had. Also i recommend asking for the hot sauce, its one of the best hot sauces I've ever had. If you in SLC, do whatever you can to get over there, its absolutely amazing. Also the waiters are so nice and friendly.

After only being open a few months, I have already tried everything on the BOLTCUTTER menu, and it's all amazing! I've had buffalo cauliflower at several places around the country, but BOLTCUTTER's is by far the best I have had. Their homemade seitan has great flavor and consistency, and the beer battered tempeh tacos are phenomenal. It's also great to have a place open late that serves drinks and vegan food, a rare thing in SLC. BOLTCUTTER has quickly become our place for dinner when we have something going on downtown, especially because on the way back to the car we can get ice cream next door at Monkey Wrench. Always bring lots of friends so you can try everything!

Exactly what I was looking for! - Edit
In SLC for work, and figured I'd check if there were any good Vegan spots around. I was happy to find there are several, but I saw that Boltcutter was open late...and had nachos. Seeing the stellar reviews, I decided to go. I ordered the nachos with bbq jackfruit added. Well...since I went vegan 2-1/2 years ago, I've been saying, "If someone can bring back the glory of nachos ...they've got me". Well I found that place. These were, hands down, the best nachos I've ever had...even since before going vegan...and I was a nacho junkie. I will def be back some time this week...but I will have a VERY hard time deciding whether to try something new (I want to try the Buffalo Cauliflower), or just get those amazing nachos again.
