Best in the city - Edit
Visited Salt Lake City the last week in August 2019 and searchedHappy Cow for Vegan Restaurants several came up and I decided to visit BoltCutter. While in Salt Lake City, I had lunch/dinner at least 4 times, the food was just that good and I would recommend BoltCutter to all Vegans. I especially enjoyed eating outside on their patio area, the weather was nice and it was so peaceful.

Was blown away by the california burrito and the cauliflower wings with the chimmichurri sauce. Amazing food at super affordable prices, I have been itching to get back to Salt Lake City just to visit this place again!

This place along with 3 other vegan restaurants here are just amazing. Recently moving from England and spending a large amount of time in London, which is probably the most vegan friendly city around, botlcutter is easily up there with true best the UK has to offer. Great for non vegans too!

This is by far the best vegan food I have ever had. I highly recommend the Cali burrito and the buffalo cauliflower. If you are in the Salt Lake City area this is a must!!!

Delicious tacos - Edit
First time here and I sampled the tacos... two Sin Carne and one Baja taco... both styles were delicious BUT the Sin Carne were much better ... really nice spiciness. When I am back in SLC, this is where I will eat!

The staff was so incredibly friendly and helpful, I can't emphasize this enough. Seriously, even if the food wasn't as delicious as it was, I'd still go back because of them. Everything here is house made and so delicious! The salsa was phenomenal. The vibe here is so modern, eco-chic. Best horchata I've ever had. I cannot believe how amazing that quesadilla was. Also, for the price, I'm blown away, it's hard to find embiance, great portions, and delicious vegan food for that great of a price point. Will come again for sure!!

The elote was delicious, lots of seasoning. The buffalo cauliflower was tasty, not overly salty (like it sometimes is when drowned with Frank's), and the portion was large. Great space and friendly staff.

Boltcutter is one of my favorites in SLC. I'm so glad it exists. the food is always fresh and delicious. My favorites include Baja tacos, cali burrito, godzilla salad, and the up in smoke salad. The cocktails are great too. Sometimes they'll feature temporary items that they announce on Instagram. They offer delivery via bike service. I think it's called go get delivery. This has been super convenient. Oh and the best server is Katie!

The vegan food scene in SLC is strong! 11 vegan restaurants, by my count. This place is so good! Plus, friendly staff and a hip/modern atmosphere. I had horchata, a buffalo cauliflower, and a huge Caesar salad. All were delicious! It’s also a great location. I’ll be back!

Other than tacos, burritos and nachos the only option is a salad. The staff were all “too cool” to be polite or even good servers. I will not go back, there are far too many great options for really good vegan food in SLC.

They used jackfruit for the meat on the nachos!!! I have been wanting to try jackfruit meat for forever and it was good they really made it work with the rest of the meal. Non-vegan friend approved.

So Far... Spectacular! - Edit
This was my first time to the store, and I showed rather close to their closing time, and they were as friendly as ever. The fact that they were so to close down shop had not thing to do with it. Now to the food. It is fantastic! For vegans, and I am positive that even omnivores would enjoy it. I have only tried one of their burritos, but easily top 5 best Burritos.
