This is literally the best vegan food I have ever had! Restaurant itself is suuuuper cute! The staff is always really nice and they even have a vegan coffee/ice cream joint next door. They’re temporarily closed right now but until they reopen they’re also run Buds sand which shop, which is also amazing! Cant wait for them to open back up!!!

Best Cauliflower Wings Ever - Edit
This restaurant is awesome! The burritos were good but not my top 10. The item at the top of my list on their menu are the buffalo cauliflower wings. They were absolutely incredible, served with a sort of creamy vegan ranch 🤤 They packed so much flavor and gave me exactly the buffalo wing flavor I crave 🤤👌

MENU CHANGED! - Edit
EDITED 1/11/2020
Read moreThey changed their menu😒not just the way it looks, but all the recipes!! The horchata was still good, but we didn’t like anything else. The quantities have gotten smaller, and they’ve tried to make their food presentation fancier. I personally won’t go there again, it was just meh. If I’m going to pay to go out for vegan food (and I went here 3x in one month last year, in December, and I’m not one who goes out to eat!) it has to be delicious. Why did they have to fix something that wasn’t broken? AND, it took over an hour to get our food. Maybe they’re learning how to prepare the new items? But dinner took FOREVER for something that was just okay. And I was sad, because I brought my anti vegan bro and sil and they were not impressed...
OLD REVIEW 12/10/19: SO DELICIOUS!! Delicious Mexican style food. Super filling. Even my non vegan family members enjoyed it! You HAVE TO GET THE HORCHATA! My Omni husband said he liked it even more than “normal” horchata. The burrito is THE BEST, and my husband said the (not fish) fish tacos tasted so fresh.

This is the best vegan food in SLC. My favorites are the buffalo cauliflower and the nachos! Their salads make salad worth eating. They are really good at working with you if you have a gluten or soy or nut allergy.

You know it's good, when even your "meat-loving-never-going-vegan" friends and family are impressed. Everything is good. Everything.

We had the cauliflower appetizer and that was a mistake only because it could have been a meal on its own. The food truly is delicious. We will definitely be back.

Trendy Mexican vegan restaurant - Edit
Salt Lake City has a bunch of good vegan restaurants, and they are popular. This is an attractive place in a food court near downtown. We enjoyed the buffalo cauliflower (fried in a spicy batter), the stuffed quesadilla, and the nacho platter with guacamole and frijoles. Portions are generous and our waiter was friendly and caring. My wife also ordered one of their exotic cocktails and liked it. If you still have room for dessert, go to Monkeywrench next door for vegan ice cream and coffee.

I was recently visiting SLC and a friend recommended this place to me, and I'm glad they did! I ordered the Cali burrito and the nachos, and my partner and I were blown away. Both were some of the best tex-mex we've ever had. Next time I find myself in the city, I'll be beelining straight to BoltCutter.
