Deserves 5*! - Edit
On a drive around Madeira we stopped off at this place as was the only nearby option on HappyCow. We were sooo glad we got the chance to eat here! The owner was so so welcoming and explained the menu to each customer in so much detail, asking if we were veggie or vegan. Described what was in the vegan options including vegan mayo and homemade sauces.

Extremely nice couple that runs the place. Meals might take a while because they are freshly produced but they are definitely worth the wait. The cocktails are also delicious. Only reason that we're not giving 5 stars is because of the policy that only full veggie restaurants can receive it.

Worthy of 5 stars deposit the policy that says that only fully veg restaurants can receive a full 5 stars. I had the vegan Buddha bowl which was genuinely one of the best things I've eaten in a while. They grow and use a lot of their own produce which can be seen around the restaurant. The bowl includes veggies/roots of plants that only grow in Madeira. The family is very friendly and will talk to you as family. I recommend sitting outside on the patio for a beautiful view of Madeiran farmland and the ocean.

Heartwarming and delicious - Edit
the owner was very friendly. Its a family business. Selfmade bread and partly self grown vegetables. The staff explains the whole menue to every customer without request and can tell you exactly whats inside the dish. The view over the little village and the sea was also great. We had the vegan hamburger and it was very delicious.
