Healthy tasty food and friendly staff - Edit
We are here on our first night in chiang mai as it was close to where we were staying and has got such good reviews. We were not disappointed. The staff were lovely; the atmosphere was chilled. We sat on comfy mats on the floor and ate really delicious food. We shared spring rolls and I had a red Thai curry and my boyfriend had green Thai curry. Both were tasty. We had asked for them to be spicy and I'm glad we did as I suspect that it wouldn't have been quite hot enough for our taste if we hadn't. I had planned to have a desert but I was too full! We returned twice during our stay in Chiang Mai because it was such a nice place.

Healthy food - Edit
We had the pumpkin soup (for our taste it was blend, just puth some pepper in it), a few slishes of bread and some homemade humus. It was all really fresh! I was disapointed with the desert, the vegan cheesecake. It took really long to be at the tabel and it was still half frozen. Therefore I wouldn't order it again.

Nice Place! - Edit
We came here a couple times while in town for lunch and for an afternoon to work on planning parts of our travels. Good curries and a nice hummus plate with veggies. For lunch we sat at a table with chairs. While working, we sat on the floor with a short table and cushions.

I went there for breakfast. The yogateacher from the studio above was there to help them as they cannot speak english well. She was super friendly and the fruit bowl was really good.

Chill spot. Delicious veggie/ vegan food. - Edit
There are alot of good veg/vegan options in Chaing Mai but Bodhi Tree is special. Great place to chill out on mats, read a book, drink coffee/tea, and enjoy some lighter Thai and western veggie/ vegan dishes. They also sometimes have classes like yoga, cooking. Last time I was there they were having a Mongolian throat singing class. Come check it out!

Cons: Expensive. Cheaper than other veg/vegan places.

Relaxed vibe, fresh flavours - Edit
I came here on the recommendation of others but the day I came by, other places in the neighborhood were rockin but Bodhi was empty. Not to be deterred, I ordered a curry and a cucumber salad, and I’m so glad I ate here. Both things were maxxed out with flavour, the cucumber salad one of the nicest dressings I’ve tasted and it perfectly complimented and enhanced the salad. Nice people, yoga-vibe with seats on the floor and a quiet setting on a small street. Also very good value.

I am a regular here - Edit
It took some time to find meals here that I was really happy with.
Read moreInitially I always went because they had the best toast in Chiang Mai. (Sourced from Kasem Store) Take your choice of topping eg hummus, tahini etc.
Finally I found my favorite stir fry here. Just order what you like, rather than follow the menu. It helps if you can talk with the cook or the owner.
I like the relaxed feeling of the area with seating on the floor. The owner is friendly as well as a French man who is usually there assisting.
Central location in the old city is good.
Pros: Reasonable prices, Central location, Relaxed, Chill atmosphere
Cons: Can be hit & miss on some food

Good but not best - Edit
Good location in town. Simple but likable place. During half of the year the friendly French owner serves himself. If he wouldn't the service would be poor. In other restaurants you can eat for less money but more tasty. I doubt if I will go there again. 3 1/2 stars
