I give this place a million stars!!! The most incredible garlic knots! And they’re huge! So fluffy and flavorful! And the marinara is amazing and warm!! The vegan veggie calzone was out of this world!!! I would make the drive to Virginia Beach just to come back here!

Best Vegan Italian I've Ever Had! - Edit
If you are vegan or a veggie, and have been having one helluva time finding quality Italian that isn't using products you can get from your local Kroger, then check this place out. They make some of their own in-house plant based cheeses, meats, etc, and the choices are fabulous. By far the BEST Italian (even best vegan Italian) I have ever had. Support these people, regardless if you are a veggie or meat eater (they have plenty of options for both)!

This place has SO MANY vegan options! Even vegan desserts! The garlic knots are literally the best things I’ve ever eaten! I also really enjoy the pizza and the pastas. One of my favorites is the vegan sausage pepperoni pizzas.

Awesome experience! Staff and owner were friendly and helpful, and food was SOOO good! We got the Pizza Bianca, garlic knots, kids cheese pizza, Philly cheesesteak, and chocolate chip cookie. They have lots of vegan options, it was hard to choose… Everything came out really fast too! Also, they make a lot of their vegan ingredients in house, which is awesome.

Probably THE best vegan pizza I have had from a restaurant! It was full of flavor and reminded me of non veg pizza. They also had Buffalo chickun which was DELICIOU. However- the vegan garlic knots were absolutely mouth watering. 10/10

Vegan white chicken mushroom calzone - Edit
Family owned, casual restaurant that offers a ton of vegan options—think I counted 20 vegan items on the menu clearly marked. I got the white chicken (Gardein, I think) mushroom calzone, vegan garlic knots, and vegan fried mushrooms. Everything was perfect. Cooked to perfection and tasted amazing. The owner seemed super excited to have a new vegan customer. Love how much pride the family has in their food. A young boy was helping out in the kitchen, clearly their child. Definitely worth visiting!!

Awesome options and kid friendly! - Edit
This place is amazing. Now that we have a picky 4 year old I’ve realized finding places that have kid friendly vegan options are rare. We got the kids vegan cheese pizza, vegan chicken nuggets, vegan garlic knots and I splurged for the vegan Mediterranean calzone. I haven’t had a calzone in years and this did not disappoint. And my child demolished her food. And the folks that work here are super friendly. So grateful to have found this place.

I was impressed that this restaurant caters to vegans as much as it does. As a rookie I ordered the pepperoni calzone. Fake meat was okay. Fake cheese was creamy like a cream cheese. Should’ve ordered more veggies in my calzone. Live and learn.

I love they had vegan options and it states it on the menu… I love me some pizza and I was able to get my THIN crust just like I like it. The people were so nice and friendly not sure if because I was an out of town customer.

I’m not a fan of Gardein plant based meat but I can say they made it their own and it taste pretty good. However I’ll pass the next time.

What a good time. Came here as a recommendation from a friend who noticed they had vegan food although they don’t eat vegan personally. Met up- completely stunned by the full vegan menu and beyond excited to eat a vegan calzone. Ended up being gifted vegan garlic knots from the kitchen and I’d just like to say overall this was a great time.

I came in as a guest and I left as family! Teresa, the owner and Kimberly were exceptional. I had a vegan pizza with beyond meat sausage, peppers and onions. It also included their vegan cheese and their vegan Parmesan cheese. The pizza was literally the best vegan pizza I’ve had. Their vegan cinnamon rolls were extraordinary. The Vegan chocolate cake was delicious as well. They also offer daily specials that are a great value! My husband ordered a non-vegan dish and it was excellent as well.

Friendly service and food mark this centrally located fast casual pizza place. Counter service only in this hole in the wall. The place has daily specials and a small menu. Could use more healthy options but it really works when your in the mood for a hearty treat.

Best Vegan Calzones - Edit
This place is an absolute gem for vegans. Forget about all that other vegan “pizza” with hardly any faux cheese — Bodacious Bakehouse does it right. It’s the second best vegan pizza I’ve ever had (shoutout Zorch in Richmond) and the best calzone. And the staff is always so friendly and accommodating. Oh, and it’s affordable too!
