So far everything I have ordered from here was AMAZING & DELICIOUS … the staff is very pleasant & professional-the only down fall is the wait time usually a hour or more When you call to check on your order plan another 15 or 20 min more after that -they are always backed up and busy but the food is soo worth the wait just plan accordingly. That being said I highly recommend this place

Wow! Delicious Vegan Boardwalk Food! - Edit
With a huge menu, incredibly nice staff, creative cuisine and authentic shore food, this restaurant was worth the 50-minute drive from NE Philly. The food is so delicious that my skeptical non-vegan friends raved about the meal and took pictures. The pizza balls, vegan Disco Fries with faux beef gravy, beach buggy mac & cheese and pizzas are phenomenal. We are already planning multiple trips back to try more of the enormous menu. The owner greeted us herself and made sure that we were happy. They answered all of her questions and made us feel at home. I cannot recommend this wonderful eatery enough!

What a solid choice. I got multiple things when I came here and it was all amazing. My favorite is the pizza balls. I ordered for pick up with an estimated time and it was significantly late which was incredibly frustrating.

I can’t believe it is vegan! Literally feel like I’m on the boardwalk in NJ but in cute little Havertown PA. You must try this one! If there is a wait, it’s worth it! Philly cheesesteak, SLAPS! Roast beef sandwich was bomb! Dante inferno fries were so good! Honey bbq wings were the beat vegan wings I’ve ever had! Margarita pizza was to die for! Not disappointed at all!!

Friendly customer service. We ordered so much food because we couldn’t decide. Honey bbq wings with blue cheese dressing, Dante inferno fries, cheese steak, roast beef sandwich, pizza, milk shake, fried Oreos. This may or may not have been for 2 people. But we live an hour and a half away so it was worth it. Oh and the virgin mojito is delicious! Coming back ASAP. I’ll be dreaming about this meal every day of my life.

This place is a super cool place with a lot of faithful recreations of a lot of boardwalk favorites that I either had as a kid or wondered about since becoming vegan over a decade ago.

Not only was all the food impressive, but the chance to get some organic cotton candy, milkshakes, and funnel cake after dinner (okay, the milkshakes were with dinner) was spectacular and a unique experience among vegan restaurants.
I'm not from the area but I'll absolutely go back next time I'm in the area for more food.

Absolutely Delicious. Ordered way too much food, but it was all so worth it. Fish tacos, the twister (cheesesteak), the classic pizza, honee bbq and hot wings (the blue cheese was delicious and the seitan was nice and crispy), sea serpent cold sandwich, and boardwalk fries. My partner and I, both vegan, went there with two omni’s and we all enjoyed everything!

There are four or five two-seater tables for sidewalk seating.. The owner brought us all of our food and drinks (rootbeer floats/chocolate milkshake) and when they were unfortunately out of pretzel sticks, he offered numerous desserts in place of it, and we ended up with a gorgeous sticky bun. It looked so good we were going to order a second one (even though it is enormous) and he gave it to us on the house! So glad we chose to check it out and we will definitely be back!!

I have never seen a vegan square pie, so I was super excited to get one from Boardwalk Vegan. I had them add the cheese blend and it was delicious. My husband got one of the burgers and he also enjoyed it. The lemonade is also really good. I didnt get to try the cotton candy, but I will def be getting some next time.

Delicious comfort food! Nearly everything was fried or bread based, and it was fantastic. Don’t expect healthy, expect amazing indulgence. Pizza and pizza ball toss were delicious, as was grilled cheese and garlic knots. Fires were great, and so was funnel cake and fried Oreos. They also have the sweetest staff! Order in advance and be prepared for a wait. Give this place a try!

It pains me to give a new vegan restaurant a poor review - Edit
This was my first time at Boardwalk Vegan and I was so excited to try them. They were friendly, initially overcharged me $25 (double check your bill) and told me the wait would be 40 minutes for my takeout which was kind of long but who cares. I went to the window at 40 minutes and the lady told me they just put my food in and it will be 5 more minutes. It ended up being over an hour and a half. They didn’t apologize for the wait or make any effort at customer service. There were 6 people waiting outside with me having the same experience. I’d maybe try them one more time (maybe it was an off night?) but there are so many quick, reliable, awesome vegan restaurants in the area I think I’ll pass. Pizza balls were good.

Opening in the middle of the pandemic, Boardwalk Vegan hits all the right notes. Themed on food you would find at the Jersey shore, with South Philly in the mix, I have yet to have something that was not just good, but amazing from here. The "H-town" pepperoni pizza is one of the best pizzas I've had, vegan or not. They source their cheese from Chestnut Hill's Conscious Cultures, which means it's delicious. The Sunday Gravy specials would be right at home with South Philly's best, homemade pasta and sauces, and desserts such as tiramisu, cannoli and more! Definitely worth the trip out to Delco (it's not too far from 69th St), or get it delivered via the Slice app.

Our first time here— We got the white pizza, Dante’s inferno, pincher fries, wings, the jet star and the cyclone and every single thing was fantastic.
