Delux for one - Edit
I had a great dinner at Bloom. The varied rolls were phenomenal and it was quite a bit of food for one person. Love to see another plant based sushi restaurant.

Art on your Plate - Edit
We had dinner here on October 9th, 2024. The food is delicious, creative and beautiful to look at!
Read moreTo start we had the mushroom tartar, the mushroom crispy rice and the arancini. I particularly liked the arancini as it was unusual to see something so Italian-inspired in a sushi restaurant. It's great to think outside the box!
Then we had the Mr Crunch, Moulin Rouge, and the Blossom. The blossom had chunks of konjac that were flavored and prepared to resemble chunks of salmon.
We also had a couple of mocktails, one with a strawberry puree in it and one with a plum puree.
Everything was so good! I hope to be back sometime soon.

Best sushi experience - Edit
So nice to see an all-vegan sushi place this busy and popular. You can tell the vegan dishes were not an after-thought on the menu, like most places, which is why it tasted so good here. The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and filling. All the combinations on the menu looked so intriguing that it took a long time to decide what to get. They even found a way to make cream cheese in a sushi work -- what! The maki fruit dessert was also yum. Chill ambience and cozy environment.

Delicious! - Edit
Visiting Montreal and looking for a vegan restaurant near our hotel. Bloom Sushi was open and near by. Everything was amazing. It was our first time having vegan sushi. The rolls are so good, you would not know it’s vegan.

So good! - Edit
They have some unique flavors and a good variety of sushi’s and other items! I got the spicy rock n roll sushi as well as the spicy “crab” crisp rice. Both were so tasty and after a 9 hour car ride was exactly what I needed. I also got the bloom sangria and it was incredible. Prices seem reasonable for a nice spot like this too.

Amazing atmosphere/ ambiance in this restaurant. Staff are extremely helpful and friendly.
Read moreThe sushi and any orders come fast and are delicious, we had dinner there the two nights we stayed in Paris. Close to the Arc.
The fudge dessert was amazing rich chocolate cake with a soft chocolate “filling”, if you’re Brazilian it was a Petit Gateau.
Cannot recommend enough, we were happy to pay a slightly pricier bill plus tip for the food and service we received.
Pros: High quality , Great service , Fully vegan

Incredible sushi - Edit
Absolutely delicious. The mushroom tartare is incredible (I take it every time), the arancini and gyozas too. I'm definitely looking forward to tasting all the entrees! The sushi and maki options offered are all impeccable, fresh and an innovative boost of flavours. Great place to bring vegan and non plant-based friends alike. Staff is friendly and the restaurant is beautifully decorated and clean. Make sure to reserve beforehand!

Delicious sushi! - Edit
Just like the place des arts location, the sushi is delicious and beautifully presented, and equally enjoyed by vegans and non-vegans alike! The decor is really nice too. I usually order the chef’s special due to all the choices. The only thing I’d suggest is to add a matcha dessert in addition to just the brownie.

Amazing sushi!! - Edit
Incredibly tasty sushi and other Japanese dishes populate the menu at this tasteful bistro tucked into the Old Port. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu; so if you have trouble choosing, go for the Omakase (chef’s choice sampler) for a huge amount of food at a reasonable price (39$). My favourite items on the menu are the crispy rice, they’re such a perfect blend of textures and flavours! Something notable about Bloom is how realistic their vegan fish is, I was double checking the restaurant was vegan when we got our food 😭 My favourite place to take a visitor on a walk through the Old Port. A must try😄

Great sushi! - Edit
We had the pleasure of dinner at Bloom Sushi. The menu was kind of overwhelming, with so many tasty sounding options that we had to force ourselves to edit. We finally decided on starters of Mr. Miyagi and Spicy crab, followed by the Kimbap, the Salmon Philadelphia Futomaki, and the Mr. Crunch special rolls. The Mr Miyagi was tempura oba (green perilla) leaves topped with shredded smoked tofu. The Spicy crab was also made from shredded tofu, served on croquets of crispy fried rice. The Kimbap was excellent, thanks to the crunchiness of the vegetables, and the topping of oba leaf, my new favourite fresh herb. The Mr Crunch was also pretty amazing, with the mixture of mushrooms, creamy avocado, creamy sauce and sprinkled with masago arare rice pearls. Our least favourite was the Salmon Philadelphia. We just didn’t think it was as tasty as the other sushi, and the large piece if sun dried tomato was too chewy. I’m not a sushi expert, but this was definitely some of the best vegan sushi i’ve had and we found the ingredients interesting and imaginative. All in all, an excellent meal and we will definitely eat at Bloom if we are in Montreal again.

The best sushi I’ve ever had! - Edit
Wow! Quite honestly the best sushi I’ve ever had. The flavours were incredible and quality ingredients. We ordered the deluxe platter to share and ordered an extra miso soup to have 1 each and also shared edamame. The restaurant staff were warm, friendly and accommodating and really helpful with guiding us on recommendations to order and explaining the platter and what it included when served. Would absolutely come back in a heartbeat!

Best vegan sushi I've ever had! - Edit
I've been eating the cucumber rolls from Whole Foods for so long that I've forgotten what sushi should be. We had the omakase which was miso soup, goyza, and 7 varieties of sushi. The best I've had. Nice decor and great service. If I lived here, I'd visit often.

I’ve been to bloom sushi a handful of times, and I’m never disappointed.

I always order one of the bundles, which include a miso soup, gyoza and a variety of different sushi from the menu (chef’s choice). This is a nice way to sample a lot of the menu, for a decent price. The food is delicious and all vegan. Would highly recommend for a fancier evening out in the city.

Do not miss this place. - Edit
We visited from St Albans Vt, and were celebrating my 64th birthday. The food and service was utterly amazing. I have traveled the world and Bloom Sushi rates in my top 10. Our server was sweet and attentive. Bruno, the manager was involved in every aspect of the service over the whole restaurant. I am hard to impress and rarely tip above 15% as most service is mediocre. These folks got 30% . Highly reccomended getting the Omakasi Deluxe. We subbed the miso for an edamame. The choice of sushi is up to the chef. We had Goyza with an Almond Butter Kimichi dip, Crispy Rice Inari, Tempura Shisito, and more. Paired this with a nice crisp cold chardonnay. Atmosphere is great with a wonderful stone and brick old montreal decore. We will be back!
