Nice and cozy place, in general I liked! The food was okay but quite salty. I think it’s quite overpriced for local dish which consists of rice and beans but maybe they make it in a special way, bathroom needs some improvement for sure

Staff are super friendly and helpful. Including Kurt the dog 🐶 coffees were so smooth. Lots and lots of choice on the menu. We were there for breakfast (9am) on a Sunday. My partner had the breakfast bowl - to which he claimed they were the best tomatoes he has ever tasted. I tried the cheese and smoke tofu toastie, blows my mind that the cheese was made from cashews. Both meals were incredible. Would seriously recommend going here!

Comida vegana saborosíssima! Fomos em um grupo de 7 e todos amamos nossos pratos, além de termos sido muito bem recebidos e atendidos por todos do restaurante! Comemos Linguine com Bacon Vegano e Molho de Queijo e Baião-de-Dois e tomamos suco verde e o suco Sunshine. Ficamos encantados com os dois pratos e os dois sucos! Além disso, foram gentis em preparar um prato de macarrão mais simples para nossa filha pequena. Tudo muito delicioso e lindamente apresentado! O espaço é pequeno, mas o nosso grupo ficou bem acomodado. Voltaremos e recomendamos com toda certeza! #Veganuary

Read moreThe Baião de Dois was amazing the first time I had it. I’ve tried ordering it again four times and the last (and truly my last time time, uneven had to ask to send it back, as it was very dry compared to the creamy one unhas the first time.
The empada de queijo I didn’t like. It tasted strange and oily. The sugar-free cookie was too sweet and I couldn’t finish.
I ordered the tofu sticks and couldn’t eat them as they were so dry.

A good choice in Botafogo - Edit
I had a “café da manhã no prato” which is a scrambled tofu w/ two slices of a sourdough bread and baked tomatos. It was delicious! The are served in a beautiful ceramic plate and the portion was really good. Also, I ordered a special coffee and a carrot cake with chocolate topping. I liked it all. The atmosphere was good too.

One of the Best Vegan Restaurants in Rio - Edit
100% vegan restaurant. I think it's a great restaurant with excellent vegan options. It is next to Hocus Pocus. It's cool to do the "lunch at Ble beer at Hocus Pocus" combo. Really, one of the best vegan restaurants in Botafogo and certainly one of the best vegan restaurants in Rio. Everything is spectacular: the starters, the main dishes, they offer specialty coffee (the brand “Café Zinn” has “Afago” as a specialty coffee with a score of 83.75 by the SCA and “Magia” has a score of 83, and there is an option of V60, express and aeropress). The dishes that I really like there are the “moqueca”, and a vegan version of “baião de dois” and “feijoada”.

Realmente, um dos melhores restaurantes veganos de Botafogo e com certeza um dos melhores veganos do Rio. Tudo é espetacular: as entradas, os principais, o café oferecido é especial (o Café Zinn Afago é café especial e tem pontuação 83,75 pelo SCA e o Magia tem pontuação 83, e existe opção de V60, expresso e aeropress). Os pratos que gosto bastante de lá são a moqueca, feijoada e a releitura do baião de dois.

Pedimos dos platos: uno estaba rico pero en el otro la sopa estaba demasiado salada y la ensalada estaba muy amarga, no nos gustó. Sin embargo, los empleados fueron muy cordiales, el servicio fue muy rápido y el lugar es muy bonito.

The best so far in Rio de Janeiro - Edit
Despite the fact that the menu is not extensive, this is the only restaurant in Rio where we went more than once, actually three times. The food is delicious!! We had feijoada (and Moqueca) in other place in town but here it was the richest in flavor and the creamiest in texture. Note: They use several mushrooms in different ways, we loved it but be aware if you a huge fan.

The food is simple but very tasty and fulfilling. Lots of breakfast options and main dishes. I like the desserts as well. The dish of the day is less expensive than the menu and usually very good (it's written on a plaque outside the restaurant not in the menu). A little above the average price in Rio (for vegan restaurants) but the price is still ok.
Read moreThe location is very nice and the place is cute, cozy and very brazilian. MPB is always playing in the background. The dish was a bit late so do not go in a hurry there.
My recommendations: Feijoada (my favorite there, rich flavour) and fried jackfruit croquettes (i had them at the dish of the day with an amazing salad, rice and beans).

New name: Ble Vegan - Edit
Restaurant is now known as Ble Vegan and has a small bar and spacious indoor seating and some outdoor seating as well. I had the bacon cheeseburger which was delicious, the cheese especially was nice.

O antigo restaurante Revú agora chama Ble Vegan, e fica no mesmo endereço, na Rua Dezenove de Fevereiro 184. O cardápio segue incrível, porções fartas e saborosas, e conta com várias novidade no cardápio. Está também no ifood. E vale muito a pena conhecer o espaço pessoalmente. Um encanto de lugar e sabor.

The food, was by far the best vegan food we have had for months. Super tasty and full of flavor! They just changed their name and the restaurant is name to "Ble Vegan"! In addition to awesome food they have really good craft beer as well.
