This is a great place to chill out and have some vegan food which is very reasonably priced. I enjoyed my cheese burger with a bottle of super bock, we sat next to the window and watched the world go by on the lovely street that it is situated on. Staff are friendly and helpful and it has a really ethical and proactive feel.

Cool and retro beats 100% vegan burger bar. Destination Porto. We got the €7.50 combinado deal of a burger with fries and a bottle of Super bock beer. The tofu burger was tastier than the seitan and mushroom burger I felt but both were very filling and throughly satisfying. They're perhaps more like sturdy patties than burgers but both remained pretty much intact so you could pick them up in the traditional burger eating fashion. There seems to be a surge of arsesanal burger places around Porto and Lisbon for that matter which have token vegetarian and vegan options but obviously you are better of coming to a place like this one to avoid the meat zombies. Black Mamba is a place I will also slither towards whenever in Porto again.

The prices and the service were both really nice but the burgers, however, were not that great. We ordered one with seitan which wasn't tasty at all. It was too dry. It was supposed to have chicken taste which it definetely didn't. The other one with chickpea patty and chicken nuggets was nicer but again too dry. Maybe we had just bad luck and it wasn't the best day for the kitchen stuff, because otherwise we don't really understand these great reviews on here.

We were annoying customers who are also bad at speaking English, the staff was still nice tho!'We werent used to the Portugues eating habits and arrived an hour before the kitchened opened. We were able to order a wrap, coffee and some cake, because we couldnt wait for an hour. The next day we came back around lunch time and the burgers were the bomb. Very delicious burgers, patatas, juice, wraps, cake, coffee and the sausage rolls we got to go.

Went already a few times. The food is great and the staff as well. With that, great atmosphere and music. I go there with my partner who is a meat eater and he enjoys it every time. But I have to say that the portions are to big for me !

Atención que no aceptan tarjeta, solo efectivo. He probado ya varios restaurantes (no en Oporto) de hamburguesas veganas, y la verdad es que este sitio no me impresionó. O sea, no está mal, se come bien y las patatas son riquísimas, pero la hamburguesa no tenía mucho sabor y el pan estaba un poco seco.

I had a meal at Black Mamba, I found a empty table but not many were so lucky. I had to wait numerous minutes before being served, as probably everyone ordered at the same time. There were about 4 different burgers, I took the Spinach one, but the waiting was frustrating long. There was only one waiter running back and forward. The burger was ok, more width than height, bread was awesome, burger certainly homemade, also the chips were good, with the good side sauce. I took a second serving of chips as treat: 10€

I really liked this place, probably because I really like the occasional burger with fries. The burgers are very good but not fantastic. The burgers on they menu come with limited insides, and the burger patties look like they are not made in-house, they look like they come from a packet. The next time I visit I would add some extras to my burgers, like mushrooms or vegan cheese. I definitely liked the style of the place and their hand made blackboard menu.

Great spot for some veggie burger options! I had the potato leek burger combo that came with fries and a beer. It reminded me a latke. Sooo good and nice to have other flavors in a veggie burger.

Read moreWe ordered two burgers from the menu (which is not too big) and they were the best vegan burgers we have had on our journey trough Europe (no kidding!). They were normal sized, very very tasty, filling burgers with potato wedges.
The rice was more than right for two meals!

Le concept est original, ambiance métal garantie ! La nourriture est généreuse et excellente pour un prix vraiment bas : le menu burger avec frites et boisson à 7€ ! Nous étions calés et avons pris les desserts à emporter ! La serveuse est disponible et attentionnée, ce qui est très appréciable. Bref si vous voulez manger un burger végane n'hésitez pas cette adresse ! Je recommande fortement !

Lovely place not too far out of the centre, absolutely worth looking for if you fancy vegan fast food or a treat! They have a selection of different burgers, juice of the day, wedges and lots of vegan cakes.
