Black Cat - Edit
WHY HAVEN'T I EATEN HERE SOONER??? I have been missing out all this time!
Read moreI found myself in this area a few weeks ago and popped over to Black Cat for lunch. I ordered the Bacon, Egg, and Cheese Sandwich with salad as a side and was so blown away. The sandwich was so tasty that I ended up eating the whole thing...it was worth it!!!

Black Cat is the best Vegan 🌱 joint I’ve ever been to. Maybe Spiral in Dallas is as good. But nothing in Blighty compares Px

Black Cat is amazing, I was so surprised. I went to Spiral Diner probably 7 years ago and remember enjoying the Philly! The best vegan junk food place for me is The Butcher’s Son in Berkeley, California (easy to get to from San Francisco) 😋.

Very big portions - Edit
The portions at this place are seriously gargantuan. I struggled to finished my sandwich. I think that the quality was above average and had a home-made feel to it. The prices are also very reasonable.

Love it! Nice and cheap - Edit
Really happy we went there, ordered 2 courses and we had to ask for leftovers! And it was £11 each! You can taste food like at home, true ingredients. Everything really positive

My new favourite vegan cafe!
Read moreI enjoyed the very generous ‘Salad Bowl’ for £10.50...totally worth it. There were 9 different salads/houmous/bread in it, and was really filling.
I also bought a sausage roll (which I heated up)and banana muffin to take away..both were delicious.
I went at 12.30pm on a Monday and there were only a few other people there so it was all very peaceful and chilled.
I’d definitely recommend a visit.
It’s a 10 minute walk from Hackney Central station.

One of the few places in London where I come back. Changing menu is one of the reasons I like to come back. But I’m always happy to find the fishless stew on the blackboard;)

Healthy food vegan café - Edit
The atmosphere is cafeteria style, I think my quiche was microwaved which I’m against and don’t ever use. I rather eat it cold than have it zapped. Wasn’t impressed by the food it wasn’t bad it was just ok. Not my kind of place.

Went here for lunch with my non-vegan friend and we both sooooo enjoyed it! I had a sandwich (something with chef in the title?!) and my friend had a falafel wrap. We both had a filo/borek kinda thing with feta in it (highly recommend), she had a blueberry muffin (and took one home for her son) and I had the coffee walnut cake. I can only say it again, everything was absolutely delicious! The menu is extensive and varied, the place is bright and airy and my iced latte was great too! Did I mention the food was delicious?!
