Great food, great service - Edit
During the latest lockdown, I was able to order takeaway via their website. Was a bit lost to get to the location and I called the restaurant. They were very polite and helpful. Food was delicious! We got the Beyond Burger, falafel wrap, mini loempias and nachos. We got free drinks too for ordering over 35euros! Pity that I don’t live in Eindhoven but will definitely return when passing through!

Read moreThere was not anything hugely wrong with the food but it was really uninspiring to eat. Unseasoned, ingredients that felt not freshly prepared.
The desert have to be singled out. They were awful. Tasteless every single element. Actually one of the weirdest plates we have eaten for some time. Just devoid of any flavour.
Underwhelming for us. We don't look for complexity or anything novel in our food, so simple bar style can be awesome - there was just such a lack of love in all the dishes. Best thing was the beetroot bulgar mezze plate.
Would not go again.

I went here with friends and we tried their tapas. Wasn't really tapas, more of a tasting board of everything but still tasted delicious. We were with 4 and ordered the dessert tasting for two which was still more than enough after everything we had.
Read moreService was good but not that great and there was room for improvement to be a bit more professional. I work service as well and I would never put cutlery and glasses stacked at the edge of the table, you give them to your guests.. We also had to ask for drinks a couple of times ourselves.
Seating looked nice but wasn't comfortable to sit at for 3 hours. Maybe just a cushion would help it be less hard and be a bit more comfortable.
All in all the food was amazing but they have room for improvement on other fronts.
Pros: All vegan and super tasy!
Cons: No comfortable seating.

Another gem in Eindhoven. Good food (all vegan), also a great option to take your non vegan friends and family. Simple, tasty food and lots of beer/wine/cocktail options as well. They have a great terrace with sun all day

A totally vegan restaurant on the big barstreet of Eindhoven with a nice and cosy atmosphere. You can sit either inside or outside on their big terrace. We ordered a big jug of cordial to share, olives, sticky mushrooms and Oma Bobs vegan bitterballen as a starter and a shoarmawrap made out of mushroomstems for main. This comes with a salad and sweet potato fries. The wrap was a bit curry flavoured which I don't like, but my husband enjoyed it very much. We ran out of time, otherwise we would have tried more of their menu. They also have a lot of nice beers here. Definitely come back!

We've not had the opportunity to visit the restaurant due to the COVID measures, but even when they just started up delivery (how inventive, using text messages and "tikkies"!) the service was really good and the food tasty. Wish there were more options so we could order more frequently with variation.

In the middle of Eindhoven's bar street Stratumseind lies Calypso, a bistro that was taken over some time ago and turned into an all-vegan bistro! The food is delicious, I can (especially) recommend the mushroom saté and the 'bitterballen' (veganized Dutch delicacy). They also have some of the best sweet potato fries in the Netherlands. Service can be a bit slow but the atmosphere in the place is very cozy and friendly, and there's a cupboard with dozens of board games to choose from if you need some distraction.

We ordered the tapas for 2 which includes the selection of their dishes in smaller amounts yet we couldn’t even finish the whole thing. My favourite was the sweet potato fries(could eat that forever!) The drinks menu was very descriptive and informative. Good quality food and drinks for an affordable price. Also it is convenient for bigger groups , to play boardgames etc. Strongly recommended!

Have tried: to order food (7 times, 3 times successfully).
Read moreHave been told: the wait would be over an hour, supplies were low, staff was late and/or lacking....ergo, friendly people kindly asking me (and friends) to leave or sip on ait.
Have seen: a kitchen only fitted for deep frying and a ditto menu.
Have felt: this is Eindhoven's (yes, Eindhoven is the one and only alt-right capital of the Netherland as the only city over 50 inhabitants still allowing and sponsoring black face parades) best try to demolish veganism: right from the inside. I have friends and neighbours actually thinking vegans only eat fries and fried oreos (bit exaghurated, but you get the point).
Feel like: they can do better; Eindhoven has so little, asks next to nothing and even I feel the urge to try try!
Pros: Realistic staff, Lots of room to improve!
Cons: Veganism at it's fried core, Not very motivated to serve food at all

Got confused at first as I thought it was another bar in a street of bars... it’s not obviously a vegan restaurant. Most of the food was very tasty though there were some slightly odd combinations. They have vegan beers too.

I love to come here for a quick bite or for a long sit with the tapas plate. There are plenty of beer choices and the staff is super friendly. It feels like sitting in your own living room or your own backyard.

Favo spot in Eindhoven - Edit
So far, this is my favourite spot in Eindhoven. The location is excellent: nice atmosphere, cosy terrace at the end of the vibrant Stratumseind. We ordered the tapas for two. Big portions, and we enjoyed all of it. Especially the botanic bites are highly recommendable.

Amazing Food and friendly staff - Edit
This place serves amazing food, everything is vegan and freshly prepared. We took the tapas, just to be able to try some more dishes. All of the dishes were tasty. We enjoyed to beer battered mushrooms so much we even ordered a second portion after finishing the tapas. Also the staff was very friendly.
