The best vegan kebab you can find - Edit
This is my favorite vegan place in LA. Period. I always come there when I’m in Town. No, really! Where else you can find so delicious vegan kebab (and all other stuff that comes with it)? My wife is into Indian food and she thinks that their Tikka Masala is something out of this world.

Nice little diner - Edit
This place is really cute and the staff were super friendly! My husband got a burger and I got chicken schwarma. Both were great. Honestly, might be the best vegan burger I’ve had yet.

Plant Based Barcode Food - Edit
Find burgers, curries, hummus, and those wooden stick-in chicken wings here. Don't expect anything mind blowing or inspired. Get mezzetta yellow chili peppers from a jar and a thimble-sized portion of garlic sauce on the side if you want some spice.
Read moreSadly, 75% of the menu is impossible Meat which is too damn bad because that stuff is chad. There are only one or two menu items without it, but nothing exciting. Hard to really enjoy the menu because it's QR only and no, I don't wanna touch your phone if I didn't bring mine. Phones are filthy. Not likely to be happy to pay $18.00 for six ounces of chickpeas in gravy unless it comes with a foot massage.
On the upside, their hummus was nice and the cafe is owner operated. My falafel plate was edible, albeit boring. I asked Wali why they didn't make their own plant based meats and he said they were too busy and it was hard to get kitchen help because nobody wants to work anymore, which was depressing to hear from a vegan.
Tip: It's not that nobody wants to work. It's that nobody wants to be exploited, try offering higher wages or partnerships to attract motivated talent.
Bigger or more interesting food that can't be assembled at home for 1/4 the price might help too. We like to work, but for ourselves and for the needy people of our communities, not for bosses with labor entitlement fantasies.

Pros: Vegan Owned
Cons: QR digital menus with little excitement, Mostly barcode / impossible products, Owner said, nobody wants to work. Ugh. 🙄

I really feel like it’s a 3.3/5 ⭐️ - Edit
I honestly appreciated the unique flavors with the items I got. I got the chicken tikkamasala the kaboburrito and the paratha bread! The bread was honestly amazing! So fluffy and fresh yet firm. Perfect. The best I’ve ever had tbh. They really demolished with that. Would definitely order that again. The chicken tikkamasala was SO CLOSE TO BEING A 5 STAR for me but I felt like it was missing some spice with the chicken. I also wished the serving size was a little bigger for the price. I ordered the spicy but it wasn’t spicy at all. Disappointing. The kaboburrito was very unique but I wasn’t a fan. Something tasted sour/acidic? I don’t know but it kind of overpowered the rest of the ingredients. I’m not sure how to describe it but I didn’t connect. However, I saw other items on the menu that I would consider trying in the future! I think this spot has potential to be one of my favorites in LA but not quite yet for me!
Read moreAlso, I got the items with Ubereats so that might have something to do with. I didn’t get my items until 45 minutes later but… yeaaa idk. I’ll definitely try again soon.

Everything is delicious! - Edit
I have been here a few times now and everything is amazing! I especially love the tikka masala. It's so good. The spices are perfect and delicious. The falafel is also amazing. My friends absolutely LOVE the kabob and kabob burritos too. And the owners are SO nice. They also have some outdoor seating, are dog friendly and everything was reasonably priced!

Great little restaurant with Middle-Eastern and Indian type foods. The owner was a great cook, very friendly, and the kind of fella you love supporting. I’m glad I found this restaurant and I’ll be back when I’m running through this town again.

Awesome Food!!! - Edit
My job got Beewali’s to cater for their 20th anniversary. Fantastic shawarma, and the pitas have the most excellent consistency—fluffy and tender, without a doubt the best pitas I ever had

So happy we stumbled on this place! - Edit
We were visiting Pasadena for an event and wanted to grab a bite to eat before heading home. This was a quick drive from where we were staying and the menu offered a lot of options. So happy we decided to try it out! I had the French toast platter, which was phenomenal. My husband ordered the Mediterranean burger, which was equally as delicious. If we ever find ourselves in the area again, we will definitely be going back. Do yourself a favor and check out this new restaurant!

Fresh, Creative and Delicious Food - Edit
I've been twice with friends and I've tasted six of their dishes. Each dish was amazing! Their Mediterranean burger was hands down the best vegan burger I've had - they marinate their impossible meat and add fresh vegetables to the patty. These additional creative steps add freshness and tons of unique flavor!
