First timer- will definitely be back. Ordered 2 sandwiches- split with my mom...loved the both. The bread is great! Bought one maple donut- so sad that we didn't get two!

Loved it! - Edit
My husband and I were only in Denver for an hour, and managed to find this gem. He had a breakfast sandwich and I had a scone and they were both perfect! We were so pleased, we bought gluten-free doughnuts to share with family!

Vegan pastries - Edit
I love this place because they have plenty of vegan and gluten free pastries which is always a great treat.
Read moreI had their avocado sandwich and I wasn't a fan. It lacked flavor.
My favorite was the chive scone and the gluten free chocolate donut.
Appreciate the seats and wifi too.

We stopped by this place late on Memorial Day morning (around 12:30) to get some breakfast treat.
Read moreThe cake was amazingly good, but I had to remove some stars because the croissant and cinnamon roll were good but a little dry (here for too long ?!) maybe it was because of the holidays maybe not, I don't know. But it stays a great vegan bakery and the only one we found in Denver, open on a holiday!
Pros: everything is vegan , cakes are really good , super nice outdoor to stay and enjoy
Cons: bakery dry/hard

Disappointing :-( - Edit
I was excited to try Beet Box because of the great reviews, however my breakfast was average at best. I ordered a croissant, my husband got an apple croissant, and we both ordered breakfast sandwiches. Sadly we both found the breakfast sandwich to be very bland. Some herbs in the frittata or even just some hot sauce would have helped.
Read moreMy croissant was a little stale, like it was made yesterday. That may not be the case, but it wasn't light and flaky. Vegan croissants are pretty hard to find though so this is kind of a beggars-can't-be-choosers scenario. The apple croissant is apple slices wrapped in dough rather than a compote. My husband said the apple was undercooked and not very sweet.
I would consider trying Beet Box in the future for a dessert but not breakfast again. Also I liked the atmosphere but I hope management considers recovering the booths as they're really tattered and uncomfortable.
Pros: Large variety of doughnuts, Ambient music
Cons: Breakfast sandwich is bland, Other sandwiches not served before 11:30am, Booths are badly damaged

This cafe is everything you'd expect of a vegan pastry joint in Downtown Denver. Leave your prissy at the door, they are about good food and not much else. Doesn't matter bc the pastries are THAT good. We enjoyed a bear claw, a donut, and an avocado melt. The sandwich was my favorite, but my palate is geared towards savory so that's not surprising. My husband with the sweet tooth enjoyed the pastries quite a bit! It was the perfect warm up on a drizzly day.

Excellent, more of a take out place... - Edit
We stopped by for the desserts/sweets. The chocolate doughnut with coconut was excellent (although cake-like). My daughter got a croissant (she said it was "solid") and the cinnamon bun (excellent). We also got a sandwich (Cremini panini) which was excellent. The surrounding area is fair.

Cons: Better for take-out or a quick bite

Who knew? With such tasty doughnuts it's a one-way trip to couch potato-dom. I had the avocado melt, chai and a maple pumpkin doughnut. All were superb.

Oh my goodness the doughnuts!!! They are both ridiculously decadent and somehow give you the impression that they're not so bad for you? Also had the avocado melt. The cashew based cheese was different from what I expected, better than I expected.

I had my first vegan croissant and it was excellent. Awesome selection of baked goods and I tried just about everything! I wish I had been able to go earlier on my trip as I would have loved to sample some of the delicious looking cakes. It was a bit of a walk from my downtown hotel but worth it. Staff were super friendly too.
