Chickpea of the Sea w/ Quinoa Salad - Edit
It was quite difficult to choose a sandwich but I went with the Chickpea of the Sea because it was one of the cheaper ones and I really like chickpeas lol. I also got the quinoa salad on the side for that extra protein.
Read moreIt was all very good but I think they did the mayo a little heavy. The bread was very tasty though and it all stayed together surprisingly well.
My only complaint (besides the mayo I guess) is that it was really cold in there (winter time), but the way the place is structured there’s not much they can do. Overall it was very good!
Pros: Great sandwich options , Whole food ingredients - minimally processed, Tempting assortment of baked goods
Cons: A little heavy with the mayo , Let’s in a lot of air from outside

Best vegan bakery, great coffee and sandwiches - Edit
I’m a fan of the simple things, and that includes a basic sandwich and chips. I totally love the avocado BLT with salt and vinegar chips. I’ve only ever had good experiences here with customer service and food quality. The bakery items are incredible, their specialty being their donuts and my favorite being the croissant. Coffee and lattes are great too. Be prepared for street parking and a line, but it’s worth it.

among my tope 3 in the country! - Edit
I LOVED the beet box. So much, that I called them from my home state, and asked if they would consider shipping me some items, and they said they had tried that and it did not work. What a piece of heaven in Denver, if you are there for any reason. Just so you know, this is a bakery, cafe kind of place. Not a fine dining experience. But, there are plenty of sit down tables, and the vibe is quiet and nice, and of course vegan. AMAZING sandwiches, like grilled cheese style that feel and taste like "the real thing" (whatever that means these days), and likewise amazing cupcakes. We sampled a variety of things. Oh, if you are out visiting, and go to Colorado Springs, check out Moxie, a totally vegan, fine dining experience, which we loved. It is finally getting easier and easier to travel vegan!

Too salty and stale food - Edit
I was so happy to find a cute little vegan cafe and the reviews were amazing too, but their food is soo stale and hard to eat (my jaw hurt chewing it)

The croissant was hard to chew and there wasn’t much chocolate in it.
Definitely won’t be coming back here again.

sooo delicious - Edit
I have been ordering from this bakery for years. Always delicious. I have served their croissants to my non vegan friends and they love them also. I have to drive way across town to get there. Well worth it!

Denver's Best Vegan Bakery - Edit
When I eat a Beet Box donut, I feel like I died and went to heaven. So moist and soft; it's hard to believe it's actually gluten-free and vegan. I've also had the Chickpea of the Sea Sandwich (mock tuna sandwich), which was absolutely incredible. They give love and care into every creation, and it really shows. They use the best ingredients, so every bite is extremely satisfying. Finally, they recently expanded their space, so now it's a place you can hang out and enjoy a meal. Because their food is top notch, I can't recommend Beet Box enough!

A little disappointed - Edit
Maybe it was just an off day as it was a Sunday of the long weekend. Ordered the almond croissant which was slightly over done but the flavour was good in the centre of it. The spinach mushroom croissant was really overdone and hard to eat, if it was baked less it probably would have been really nice and flaky. Had the breakfast sandwich which was okay and a blondie which was nice it had like a butterscotch flavour.

Can't Beet It! - Edit
Beet Box is a fantastic bakery/cafe. Their treats are quite yummy and not overly sweet and there is generally a large selection of flute-free options as well.

The staff is always warm and welcoming and their carrot cake is one of my go-tos for birthdays. Vegans and omnivores alike love it.
Highly recommend this place for lunch or a treat!

Amazing vegan pastries - Edit
I got the almond croissant and it was incredible. Flaky and delicious. I got two donuts to go too because it’s normally so hard for me to find vegan pastries! So happy I tried Beet Box whole visiting Denver.

...AND they have oat milk! - Edit
I love this place, everything I have had here is delicious, the people working here are lovely, and it’s in a central location near downtown with lots of accessibility. My one and only wish is that they were open later for us folks who get off work at the same time as they do. I would be able to go much more frequently if that were the case!

Gluten Free and Vegan Doughnuts - Edit
Very impressed with quality of all the pastries and sandwiches. Homemade cashew milk for coffee is a rare find. Fiancé enjoyed his gf chocolate pumpkin doughnut. The croissants are the perfect texture and scones were buttery. I wish I could have stayed for their lunch sandwiches. Highly recommend this place

fabulous & filling - Edit
We really enjoyed this bakery. Lots of great options to choose from (several gluten-free too) and they also serve amazing sandwiches. The address in the app worked, but there isn’t a sign on the building so we did have to circle around the block. I was sad because I really wanted a cinnamon roll but they sold out earlier in the day but we went late afternoon that’s understandable. Definitely going back next time we are in The area.

Pretty small, kind of hard to find, could use better signage...however...the BEST sandwich I've had, yet, around the vegan spots in capitol hill. It's the bread, it's amazing! And the donuts, don't get me started...soooooogoooood :)

I LOVE vegan donuts so this place was a must stop in Denver. A huge selection of donuts and fall seasonal flavors like maple pumpkin and apple walnut were amazing. I also had a coconut milk latte with housemade lavender syrup which is a favorite of mine. All in all a perfect breakfast.

Incredible sandwiches - Edit
Sandwich menu is amazing and all are served on yummy house made bread. There is one with sliced beets, sage walnut pesto and cultured cashew cheese that rocks the taste buds. Very affordable pricing and up beat friendly service. The Beetbox brownie with pecan caramel on top is my favorite! I find other bakery items to be hit or miss. Sometimes they can be too dry or lacking in flavor complexity. But this place still gets my 5 stars!
