vegan Thai food

If you want some vegan Thai food this is the place to go. They had so many options it was hard to choose. The mushroom balls are super good, try them! I had a Curry dish that was wonderful and also the fried veggies that were good too. The best part is it's cheap but still has good portion size. Overall it was great and I highly recommend if you want Thai food.

Pros: all vegan options, cheap, good portion size

Redefined thai vegan cuisine

Delicious, cheap and full of varieties, we will definitely come back to try the rest of the menu. We ordered very Thai dishes and surprised by how delicious their 'veganised' versions are. Fermented pork fried rice, northern style sausage, e-san sausage, pineapple curry - all brilliant! Highly recommend for any vegetarian/vegan living in Chiangmai

Pros: Cheap, lots of varieties and options , Friendly staffs - speak good English , Can be made not spicy

Cons: Can be a bit hard to find parking, park on the mai

Wonderfully Delicious 🌱

This gem is down a little ally just off of a little road. Don’t let the look of the ally deceive you. It’s cute and quirky and incredibly delicious! I took my girlfriend who isn’t vegan and she loved every mouthful! (YES!) She got Massaman Curry and I had fried pork and vegetables with a soup and rice. There weren’t any vegetables though so definitely order them separately, could be a translation problem 😂 also I don’t like spice so I requested for it not to be spicy and they understood, my girlfriend loved spice and hers did not disappoint! They cater to all needs. 100% worth the visit and I’m missing it already! Highly recomend you go and visit, they also sell some vegan snack to take away. I got the brownie which was delicious and some mushroom snacks I’m yet to try!

Pros: Delicious , Quirky , Vegan snacks!

Delicious, Cheap, Fresh. Kitchen closes at 8:45pm, 20:45.

Just a quick heads up, they are open until 9:30pm but kitchen closes at 8:45 pm.

We got the avocado salad which was amazingly good, it came with mustardy dressing, a grilled vegetables salad with sesame dressing which was also very good, the deep fried sour pork with vegetables which was very good, (watch out, there is 1 green chili in each) but didn't come with vegetables? We also got the pad Thai with mushrooms and vegetables, but it was quite different from what we get in Canada. This had a fennel/black licorice flavor.
The restaurant is not on the main Street, but down a back alley, just follow the red and yellow jae signs (look like the number 17 ).

Pros: everything vegan, great prices, fast service, ice

Cheap and delicious

All vegan Thai dishes, and everything we tried was lovely (pineapple curry, a different curry, and especially the deep-fried "pork" and the Issan sausage). Location is maybe a bit dingy, and the place itself is sparse but clean. A bit noisy outside, but worth it overall. No alcoholic drinks but a huge selection of juices and cold/hot teas.

Pros: Cheap, English menu, Big portions

Cons: Noise outside , Location a bit dingy

Very good food

Firstly - Map is correct now (from 18 Oct 2017). Heading towards the mountains (West) along Suthep Rd, after crossing the canal, take the second left (after Jampha supermarket) and, 30 metres along, turn right into a yard surrounded by high buildings. Bee Vegan is the fourth 'shop front' (mostly workshops with shutters) on the left.
The food is all cooked fresh and is very fulfilling and tasty. The staff are very friendly.

Pros: Great tasty fulfilling food., Very friendly helpful staff

Cons: Not easy to find

Great Value

Extremely cheap local style restaurant where everything is cooked to order. They have western style salads and grilled veggies without oil, as well as all the usual Thai dishes such as noodles, curries and deep fried veggies. They even have a small selection of vegan cakes! Fast and efficient service and open until quite late. To find it go up Suthep Road and take the second side street after the 121. You will see Bee Vegan in a little courtyard on the right. Quite well sign-posted.

Pros: Very Cheap, Huge range of Food, Open until Late

Cons: Basic Setting
