I haven't ever had a gluten free and vegan chicken sandwich option because usually the vegan chicken replacement is made of some sort of wheat. Luckily this one was tempeh and it was absolutely the best sandwich I've had in a long time! I got the Hot Chiky and a gluten free cookie, and the cookie was so good as well! Great and flavor texture for both, and the space is very vibrant.

Beatnik formerly known at By Cloe is a very creative vegan restaurant. Everything I have tried is always fresh and delicious, never salty. The staff are delightful, patient and very friendly. This is my go-to for a vegan burger. Love the guac burger combo with half and half fries, ketchup, and dipping sauces. It's a very satisfying bean burger (not an impossible burger). Yum!

I ate a fantastic quinoa taco salad and air-fried sweet potato fries here recently. The server was very helpful and friendly, and the food was delicious, fresh, filling, and in a large serving size. Would recommend and would go again! Also nice location to sit outside in the city. A great 100% vegan business to support!

Burger is great. Some of the fries wasnt crispy and soft maybe they stuffed too much potato inside the airfryer. Tempeh tenders is great. I also had a red velvet cake and chocolate chip cookie and sprinkle cookie. Cookies are great. Would go again.

The tempeh tenders were great, and the mustard sauce awesome. I can't stress enough how much I appreciate that they use tempeh and not seitan like most other vegan restaurants do. In my opinion tempeh tastes way better than seitan, is way healthier, and seitan is tough to digest. I also really like how they use mushrooms as bacon, and sweet potatoes for cheese in the mac and cheese. They're certainly not serving health food but they do seem to use better ingredients than the typical vegan restaurant.

The chlostess cupcake tasted just like what I remember a hostess cupcake tasting like, so it was good but not amazing to me. Overall, I really enjoyed this place and would go back.

I thought the food was so delicious. I had been wanting to try this place for months. I got the BCB burger combo with half and half fries. The dipping sauces, especially the beet ketchup, were amazing. Next time I will try one of the baked goods! I really enjoyed that the food had a very classic burger and fries vibe with a cruelty-free spin. Everything tasted very fresh and very good. I was also impressed with how good the fries were. I didn't know what to expect from air frying.

The vibe of the restaurant was kind of sad. It was sparse and dark inside with only one other party dining as the Saturday streets outside bustled with activity and crowds. Life Alive, a vegetarian (but with many vegan dishes) restaurant is on the same street and was bursting with people.
The entire time I was eating at by Chloe I kept sadly wondering if this location was next on the chopping block, as I know they have filed for bankruptcy and have had a lot of legal drama. The fridge also featured a decal on the side advertising vegan ice cream and craft beer that didn't exist.

Sugar cookie really good! but i got the buffalo chicken sandwich (i don’t remember the name of the exact sandwich but that’s what it was). The Slaw on the sandwich was good but the sandwich was average. My boyfriend who isn’t vegan(but enjoys vegan food) got the burger and was not impressed at all. Essentially it’s a overpriced veggie burger. We have been to the chloes in new york and we had a better experience there.

I have now ordered delivery from them twice and both times I have been far from disappointed. Everything is so flavorful and the packaging for delivery is eco-friendly. I love their baked good and their "chicken" sandwich! So delicious and I cannot wait till I am able to go back! So anxious to try everything on their menu. A super cute place with hanging half-egg swing seats and chic neon lights throughout the restaurant. Most of the food is a homely take on American favorites: a chickn parm sandwich, Mac and cheese, French fries, red velvet cupcakes, chocolate chip cookies and the like. It comes out super warm, with many layers of flavor in each entree. The desserts bring a huge smile to my face too. It’s quite welcoming to taste vegan junk food that seems to have a passion behind it. Everything I’ve tried is absolutely delicious, but the faux meats and cheeses are sometimes hard to get over for non-plant-based eaters.

One of the few By Chloe locations in the Boston area. All are delicious and the food is consistently great. The atmosphere is nice and there is plenty of seating and it is in a very trendy part of Boston with many shops close by. Great for a quick bite.
