Really, really unexpectedly bland food.
We had the croquettes, veggie burger, burghal with veg, and goats cheese. Soy latte was tepid.
Goats cheese wasn’t fresh, croquettes really cold and bland, burghal was terrible (supposed to be tamarind sauce and include a bunch of veg, but it was cabbage, carrot and onion only, covered in a flavourless mayo - unexpected), vegie burger bland again...turmeric burger bread was more like turmeric cardboard. The addition of lettuce and tomato is so basic and boring. The potatoes that came with the vegie burger were freshly cooked and delicious though. Only highlight.
The staff were really nice and the menu was long and varied - maybe in their defence we just picked four bland dishes....? Anyway I wouldn’t recommend this place and I’ll never go back. So glad others have had much better experiences. Hoping they improve their flavours and cooking and I wholeheartedly wish them well.
