Delicious Vegan Food - Edit
I was there last night and it was a special event but I have to say that Chef Sam’s cooking is special and delectable. Everything on the menu for the event was so tasty I wanted to keep eating even after feeling full. The 3 dips offered with chips for the appetizer were also amazing. A homemade cheese dip, guacamole and a delicious bean dip. I will definitely go back when I’m in Sacramento to try their regular fare. So glad I got to try them.

Went here several times during a weekend work trip because it was amazing. Loved the Katsu Mole taco and the Bambi so much. But everything I ate was great!

There's more than tacos! - Edit
Bambi's is doing vegan right. They started as a food truck and evolved to this brick & mortar.
Read moreI'd consider them more of a vegan bar at this point because of how small it is and how great the drinks are (peach margarita I'm thinking of you).
I've had all the tacos and the Al Pastor is by far my fav. When I've got a bigger appetite I throw in a classic Bambi taco as well.
Get the chori-queso dip! It's a great shareable. The Melty-Melt is also messy but delish.
I haven't yet experienced the brunch here, but I plan on it.

So good! - Edit
Although the portions are small, quality and taste are exceptional. Plus, the prices, per taco, aren't bad. We had the nachos to start which were good. My husband had a double taco and he loved it. I had the special which was a deep fried zucchini taco and it was so good!

Fantastic food! - Edit
We love stopping in at Bambi tacos whenever we get the chance. They seem to try to rotate and update some menu items seasonally which is great to have variety, and fan favorite items always stick around too. Plus, their bar offerings are always changing to outdo themselves as well.
Read moreThe patatas bravas and the salad are classics that are too good to pass up.
Finally, I’m always so surprised that they are relatively kid-friendly. Booster seats and kids menu are available. Score!
Pros: New menu offerings seasonally, Kid friendly

Fun little spot - Edit
We had the al pastor, double decker, and chipotle tacos, in order of preference. Very good. Place had a neat vibe. We’ll be back. Probably won’t have the chipotle one again.

delicious and unique - Edit
Cute ambiance, friendly staff and super quick service. individual reviews of what I got:
Read more- poke wonton tacos - fantastic. Taste comes off a little fishy which is exactly what you'd expect.
- Loaded Fries - also excellent flavor bombs, a bit salty (and I'm usually a salt fiend)
- Bambi Taco - a solid hard shell taco. great for trying the array of hot sauces.
O-chata - perfect horchata like drink.
definitely worth the visit, I'll be back!

Disappointed (one star) - Edit
I was so excited to try this place after the reviews, but it wasn’t great.
Read moreWe started with the Bravas (potatoes) and they were awful. I’ve never had anything so salty, completely inedible (and I love salty potatoes). I also ordered the fajita salad and it wasn’t great, mostly romain.
My friend had the tacos and liked them.
Also the staff seemed more into socializing with themselves, than interacting with customers. Not really friendly or engaged.
Pros: All vegan , Tasty drinks
Cons: Bad flavours , Bad staff

Soooooo yummy! - Edit
Had the fajita salad (recommend sharing as it is pretty substantial), an al pastor taco, and peach cobbler. Both the taco and cobbler were specials that weren’t on the menu. While everything I tried was really good, the al pastor taco was made with mushrooms and it was my favorite item! Would love to see it become a mainstay on the menu! 😃

I finally had the chance to visit Bambi Vegan Tacos which is one of my wife’s favorite places in Sacramento. My wife had the potatoes Bravas and Al Pastor tacos, while I had a Bambi taco and the melty the melt.

Good ! - Edit
We went in july 2023, and I have a good memorie about this restaurant. It was good, a bit greasy but considering what I order it's considered normal. I was glad to be able to drink a vegan horchata, i have since other place offer this possibility since then

The “melty melt” is sooo good! The cheese is the perfect texture. I haven’t tried the tacos yet because I just can’t turn down that sandwich. They also have really good margaritas made with jalapeño tequila!

Amazing vegan tacos. - Edit
You can really tell that care was taken with the food here. Even the little tortillas are special. My absolute favorite item is the double deluxe. I think it's the beans and cheez that do it for me. I'm a simple woman! Never much of a wait here and service is quick.

Delicious and fun! - Edit
Loved the creative all vegan menu and the hospitality. The al pastor taco did not disappoint, yum! My husband had the Hawaiian bento box which was full on fun yummy stuff. We shared the bean dip appetizer, and I had a passion fruit margarita and he had a strawberry something with a jalapeño tequila which was spicier than what he was wanting but they gave him more agave which helped mellow it out.

Life-changing tacos - Edit
Holy moly, I do like tacos but that is a "like" even though I eat them all the time because of 5 Tacos and Beer in Albany. However, I was not prepared for the wonderfulness of the tacos at Bambi! When I say they are life-changing, I mean it. Especially the tacos al Pastor! And everything else I ate. Sadly, I was alone and only ordered three things. This place is epic! It's completely vegan, creative food and completely delicious. You just need to try it and it's almost worth a special trip to Sacramento depending on your commitment to tacos.
Read moreI was there on a Wednesday night and the place was packed and everyone there was super happy. I didn't know what to order but Sol (server/bar person) gave me great advice and I was delighted with the choices. Having said that, I would have eaten another one or two tacos al Pastor! It was my first one ever; I do not like pineapple cooked in my food but this taco was incredible! Just make sure you order enough of them because it's very sad when you look at your empty tray at Bambi. The food is too good to run out of!
If you're anywhere near Sacramento, just do it! You will not regret the detour one bit.

Great tacos, even better dessert - Edit
Got a Bambi taco and an Al Pastor taco; both were great, the Bambi especially if you like crunchy tacos. Lots of flavour and great sauce.
Read moreThe dessert of the day was a double chocolate donut with strawberry jam and it was the best donut I've ever had! Not too sweet and lots of dark chocolate flavour. Definitely would come back even if it was just for the dessert.

all vegan tacos in Sacramento - Edit
My beloved and I recently went to Bambi Vegan Tacos for a meal. First off kudos for being all vegan.
Read moreWe started with the Patatas Bravas aka crispy smashed fingerling potatoes topped with a smoked red piperade sauce. This was good for a starter.
We shared three tacos including the Bambi, Garden Chorizo, and the Al Pastor. The tacos were good. We felt they were a bit heavy.
Perhaps to improve things would be adding more veggies to the tacos and would be awesome if they could make their own hot sauce.
Service was on point. Glad we gave them a try.
Pros: All vegan tacos, Friendly service, potatoes were a good starter
Cons: would be nice for the tacos to have more veggies, would be nice for made in house hot sauces, tacos were a bit heavy
