My best farafel! - Edit
I visited the Ballon for the first time. Their farafel was beyond my expectation! It was spicy and so delicious. And, I had a vegan soft ice cream with raspberry sauce. It was delicious, too! I want to have their farafel again.

I found the falafels a bit too oily and salty and the bread too soft. Besides being quite expensive the portions are rather small, so even though I got the big size I still felt hungry after eating the sandwich. Apart from being disappointed by the food, the space didn't overwhelm me either. The restaurant is really small and you have to place your order outside before you can enter. I also found the staff was quite rude. It said in the store that we would get free ice cream if we write a review on happy cow. After confirming with them we wrote the review, but we ended up not getting any ice cream since they did not like our review, they said because it was in Japanese. So, here's your review in English.

In Japan, there are still few good restaurants available for vegans but this is definitely the best in this area. I have eaten TWO large falafel sandwiches at once. I strongly recommend all of you to come here to enjoy the great sandwich! Thank you!

This place is excellent! Can't remember the last time I had a falafel this good! The eggplant slices and mushrooms made it stand out. It's definitely worth a trip to if your on the fence about it. Do it. Just do it.

Great food and atmosphere, should have bought a large! I got the falafel salad in plain pitta and my boyfriend had the coriander falafel with their special edition Beat pita. Both were fantastic. I also got the berry soda as part of a lunch set and it was also great
