Great big brekky - Edit
Such a great vegan breakfast option, the flavors are great and the big fritter was the highlight of the meal. It’s so big I couldn’t finish it. Also great service, the waiter was so responsive and friendly.

My favourite brekky in Byron! - Edit
My partner and I come from Sydney every year to holiday in Byron and we eat breakfast at Bali Bagus at least 4-5 times in 1 week. The vegan big breakfast is incredible.. the cashew hollandaise and tofu sweet potato scramble are the highlights. I want to try other things on the menu but can never make myself order anything else 😂

Quality Vegan Options - Edit
On holiday staying ax the road from this cafe opposite main beach. Wish I tried it the day before going home, as great options!
Read moreI ordered the Vegan Gado Gado, which was so huge I couldn't finish it!. Loved that the veggies were steamed, and food not laden with oil as a lot of vegan restaurant options do.
It's so hard to find a restaurant that cooks Whole Food Plant Based (WFPB), Yet to discover one.
Although not a fully vegan restaurant, it was good dining with hubby who is not vegan, as he enjoyed the Barraumundi and Slaw, said it was best salad and dressing he has had.
Almond coffee was great.
Dog friendly
Staff friendly to us, and our pooch, delivering him his own bowl of water .
It was good that we could sit with him under shaded verandah.
Full table service with water brought and served at table
Pros: Lots of vegan options- fresh food, Full table service. Dog friendly , Reasonable prices
Cons: None for me

Don’t eat here! - Edit
I ordered a vegan strawberry milkshake. When it arrived there was a marshmallow on top that didn’t look vegan. I asked the server if it was vegan and he said yes. I later emailed the company to confirm as I was sure it wasn’t vegan and was told that the marshmallow was not vegan. They were not apologetic at all and I was informed that the restaurant had been “too busy” to train their staff on vegan options. It makes me wonder what else they aren’t bothered about checking for if they can’t even remove a marshmallow from a milkshake.

Disgusting - Edit
Was given menus. Went to order and the kitchen was closed despite being main brekky period. Ordered dirty chairs and they couldn't even make one. Also ordered a bacon and egg roll. The coffees took 20 mins to come out, after 35 mins we asked where the roll was only to be told they had no idea on the roll. Took another 20 mins to cook a poor burger roll.

We stumbled across this little cafe and discovered they had vegan options. We had delicious vegan paninis from their cabinet and açai bowls. Not disappointed. Friendly service.

So Disappointed - Edit
We came here because the website advertised vegan pancakes. When I tried to order them they said they'd changed the menu a year ago. They'd also removed other vegan options without updating the website.
Read moreWhen I asked about alternative options they mocked me by saying I could "have a glass of water". So disappointed with that attitude from a place that is supposedly vegan friendly.
Pros: My friend had already ordered so I got a smoothie, The smoothie was deliciois
Cons: Attitude, Out of date website

Seriously underrated, great vegan options!! - Edit
We only had breakfast here, but many great options for breakfast or lunch, over half the menu can be vegan option. Highly recommend a visit in Byron Bay we can’t wait to return and try the rest of the menu!
