Super yummy unique place! - Edit
Really impressed by AtayaCafe. Their food is unique, healthy and really really tasty. Perfect for brunch and dinner! If you go here definitely try the Jollof Bowl - so yummy! They are not only 100% vegan but plastic free as well!

Read moreFor lunch I tried the Jollof bowl and hummus platter and the food was so delicious, fresh and wholesome.
The Sunday brunch is not one to be missed either with such an array of Afro-Italian dishes, which is such a unique fusion. You definitely need to book in advance as this is so popular.
The hosts and staff are also so welcoming and friendly, and eating here never feels rushed.

Wow! I found it by chance and immediately became my favourite in Berlin. The taste is amazing, the price is fair and the service superb. Smiley and friendly atmosphere and the food is from another planet. Please don’t change! We love you ❤️

Read moreAtayaCaffe offers delicious vegan food at cheap prices. Ingredients are fresh and original. Furniture and flatware are distinctive and colourful. I tried (for the first time in life) fried bananas and I would have had tons of them. The service is super-nice and it is nice to see an "eco" approach with very interesting magazines. I would definitely recommend it and when back in Berlin I will visit Ataya another time.
Ataya offre preparazioni deliziose a prezzi convenienti. Gli ingredienti sono freschi e particolare. L'arredamento e le stoviglie sono originali e colorate. Ho provato per la prima volta in vita mia le banane fritte e me ne sarei mangiate una montagna. Il servizio è perfetto ed è bello vedere che ci sono riviste molto interessanti su temi ecologici. Lo consiglierei senz'altro e quando tornerò a Berlino ci andrò nuovamente.

So you’ve had your fill of vegan junk food — donuts, fries, something-something-currywurst — now it’s time to visit a place like Ataya and discover REAL plant-based cooking. Great ingredients and great ideas from two different but complementary cultures. We had one from each: a Senegalese inspired dish of plantains, sauces, and rice; and from Sardinia, vegan ravioli in a savory marinara. Plus blueberry cheesecake. The atmosphere is spacious, warm, and comfortable. The entrees at 10 euro are great value. Of all the places we ate during two weeks in Berlin, this is the one we will come back for.

Scrumptious vegan food in cozy atmosphere - Edit
I discovered this place around 2 years ago, when it had just opened. Immediately fell in love with it. I kept coming back and finally tried their Sunday brunch! The buffet has great variety; everything is homemade, vegan, and so delicious! The only note I have is that for the price of 15€ I wished at least tap water as a drink was included. Everything else was perfect!

What a lovely cafe! The atmosphere is cozy, the service warm and welcoming, and the food was delicious. I'm not a vegan, but I appreciate amazing food cooked with love, and the two dishes we ordered were full of flavor, texture and perfectly cooked and presented. I think what you get for the price is more than reasonable. The jollof plate was excellent, as was the hummus and grilled vegetables. I loved the spices and the flavor profiles. The owners should be super proud of what they created here, it's great.

We came here for lunch during the week, and it seemed like they didn't have enough staff, because we were ignored for a long while, and there was no one at the counter where we could order.

The ravioli had great tasty sauce, and the african bowl was a bit too spicy for me.
Overall, I think it's nice, but I've had better experiences! I've felt it was all a bit too relaxed and slow. The brunch is probably better than just the normal lunch, Appreciate what they're doing though :)

This place is an absolute must if your visiting Berlin. Food is incredible - you will not leave hungry!! We loved it so much we visited twice during our 5 day holiday. We had the breakfast platters and croissant which were delicious, sooo fresh and has everything you need for the day ahead.

questo e´un vero posto vegano, non usano plastica o imballaggi e neppure fazzoletti di carta.
Abbiamo provato quasi tutto il menu, tutto buonissimo e cucinato di fresco.
Da non perdere se siete a Berlino.

A wonderfully bright and welcoming cafe with a relaxed atmosphere. It feels like an open living room where time slows and you could stay for hours. Our food was absolutely delicious - generous plates full of fresh, colourful yumminess. We enjoyed the fried plantain with jollof rice, and a veg curry with couscous. The staff were lovely and helpful too.

And a great ravioli bowl with a yummy tomatoes sugo and vegan parmigiano.
owners are charming and always smiling. You feel so quickly like home!
they have super comfy space with couches ,books and plants , great music , vegan magazines to read.
You can see that there is a thought behind this place, it's an authentic and anti-capitalist venue!
No plastic straws here
And it's a zero waste restaurant.
We need more places like that!

Delicious Saturday breakfast - Edit
We came for the set Saturday breakfast and were presented with a vast and interesting range of small bowls on a big dish. We accompanied this with coffee and smoothies. All was delicious and healthy. The smoked cheese was particularly great.
