Open summer only from around May 20 to Oct 1. Sister restaurant to the Art of Raw in Zagreb, this one is at The Garden Zadar. Main menu is divided into breakfast, savory, sweets and drinks with a variety of raw vegan food. Dishes include spaghetti courgette, spring roles, empanadas, chia porridge, kale chips, carrot vanilla cake and pizza. May not be open when raining. Reported closed June 2021.

In addition to ththe main dishes, they also offer delicious cakes and coffees, and vegan snacks if you plan to have some drinks and bites.

I loved this place you can go there to have breakfast,lunch or dinner and it's also a club at night. Very nice vegetarian raw food, lovely smothies and amazing ambience.

I absolutely loved the food and smoothies at this place. I didn't expect anything like this in Zadar.
Read moreI had the raw vegan pizza and the summer rolls and my friend had the granola yoghurt. We were both thrilled. The smoothies were the best we had ever had.
On top of this, the place is a lounge with a view of the harbor and lounge music. It was very relaxing.
I would love to come back here one day.

The place is really really nice ans staff is cool, but the food was a little too spicy and too "alternative" for my taste, I prefer more traditional food. I recommend spaghetti courgette, I didn't like empanadas.

A fantastic and chilled place where you can get great views of the coastline with raw vegan food. Highly recommend the raw salad and the tempeh dish. Excellent!

amazing meal at Art of Raw - Edit
Excellent meal! Very kind, patient and helpful service at the Art of Raw. I recommend ordering the chopped salad - it sounds simple, but is huge (with really yummy dressing). I also had the ice noodles, which were very unusual, but tasty. I'd go back in a heart beat.

We went to the Art Of Raw twice and we have concluded it to be a bit and miss experience.
Read moreFirst night we had the spring rolls and the tempeh. The spring rolls were very good and came with a nice soy sauce dip. The Tempeh however was not so good, it left a fishy aftertaste that wasn't appealing.
Also we asked for stuffed champignons, raw pizza, empanadas and onion chips on the first night and none of these were available that night.
The second night we came we ordered three things as the portion sizes aren't really big enough to satisfy if you just have one each. This night we got the empanadas, raw pizza and again the tempeh.
The stuffed champignons again weren't available.
The empanadas, like the spring rolls were a hit and we're full of flavour. The raw pizza was ok but came with a very difficult to cut base with the knives we were given however it was very tasty.
Sadly, again the tempeh left a fishy aftertaste that we thought may have been just from that one night we were there.
In terms of drinks we had a red carpet mocktail and a banana based smoothie which I can't remember the name of which were excellent. On the second night however I ordered a juice which I also can't remember the name of but it had ginger in it and I couldn't taste anything but the ginger.
Overall the location is fantastic with great views of the harbour opening and all the boats coming in and out. The service was also very fast and friendly.

Please don't mistake this restaurant for a garden bar popular with tourists for your common sunset cocktail. This place is the real deal. I've eaten raw food around the world and this is without a doubt the best set of raw dishes I have dined on, ever. The taste and layers to the dishes are high end restaurant quality and I was blown away. We are over looking the Harbor and orders the spring roles (rice paper roles), Raw Pizza and the 2 varieties of vegan pate'. The food was incredible, my partner who is vegetarian had never eaten good quality and well thought out raw food and is now a complete convert. The food was cheap and the location was brilliant. Drinks also are in the same category, beer is all brewed in house and the cocktails are fresh fruit based and cheap in comparison to other Croatia destinations.

Dieses rohköstliche Restaurant ist idyllisch am Berg mit Blick auf die Hafenpromenade gelegen. Viele (v.a. einheimische) Gäste kommen nur wegen der Bar hierher, anscheinend der Hauptaktivität dieses Ladens. Wir bestellten Spring Rolls, Pizza und Norimaki. Alles war extrem lecker, sogar unserem 6 Jährigen schmeckte es! Zum Nachtisch gab es Karottentorte mit Kokossahne. Göttlich! Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Spoilt to have such a great totally vegan menu in a really pleasant environment. Between 3 of us we had the spring rolls (delicious), the sushi (very tasty), the zucchini 'pasta' (bit too salty for our taste, but otherwise good), the tempeh (nice, but already getting stuffed), the pizza (a bit heavy on the rocket/ruccola) and managed to squeeze in the chocolate mouse (gotta love a non-vegan spelling mistake 😁) which was very nice. Would definitely return.

Nicht ganz einfach zu finden- keine Beschilderung aber dank anderer Happy cow Bewertungen haben wir es dennoch recht schnell gefunden. Wir hatten einen grünen Smoothie, einen latte Macchiato und ein Raw tiramisu. Das tiramisu war echt göttlich! Die Location ist sehr schön und es war richtig gemütlich. Ich würde sofort wieder hin gehen!

Although this restaurant is hard to find it is completely worth the search. I wish it was open all year round but is in operation only during the high season.

If you are in the city during high season absolutely visit here. I can't emphasize enough how fantastic it was to visit.

An amazing setting in a lounge hip environment overlooking the river. The cuisine is truly Vegan and 100% raw. The dishes were novel and plentiful, and the price was very reasonable. The service was just as good, very personable. Made friends! Must go !

Tolle Location - wunderschöne chillout-Zone mit Matratzen und Sofas. Etwas schwierig zu finden, weil am Ufer kein Hinweis zu finden ist, dass man die Treppen zwischen den Häusern hoch muss. Etwas schade, dass es kein warmes Essen gibt, aber dafür hatten wir tolle kalte Gerichte und leckere frische Säfte. Hier gibt es auch jede Menge smoothies und Cocktails... Alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen!
