Good options albeit slow service - Edit
Vegan options were delicious. Vegan items are clearly marked on the menu. Note that service is a little slow though and they do ask for reviews after your meal.

Lovely Atmophere, friendly staff - Edit
This is NOT fully vegan but the staff understand what vegan is and there are plenty of vegan options on the menu.
Read moreIt’s a lovely, old Byzantine boat house that has been converted and it’s in the Rough Guides guide book.
We went here as we didn’t want to venture too far from our apartment which was just around the corner.
The staff gave complimentary black tea with each course and we shared the vegan meze platter.
We finished with a pumpkin dessert that neither of us had heard of before and it was lovely.
Would recommend here if dining for a special occasion as it is a lovely setting with very friendly staff.
We were given a bookmark with evil eye bead at the end of our meal and were made to feel very welcome here.
Worth a visit if you’re nearby, very reasonably priced for the amount of food that you got.
Also, serves alcohol (many of the vegan-only restaurants in Istanbul do not serve alcohol)
Pros: Atmosphere, Food, Friendly staff
Cons: None

Lovely Vegan Options - Edit
Really great service, the staff were very knowledgeable. I had the vegan mezze platter, which allows you to pick five from any of the mezze options during off peak times, which was super tasty. Followed by apple tea on the house.

Best vegan food in Sultanahmet - Edit
I came here twice because the food was so good and they had so many vegan, gluten-free options. Great service as well. They even have vegan wines!

Very good service from Hayyam. The other new waiter not so good. Food is delicious. Only negative point: they only serve toast bread alongside mezze.

Perfection - Ambience. Food, service - Edit
First thing that strikes you when you enter Arch Bistro is its lovely ambience and from then on the wow factor keeps on coming. The menu, the choices, the trivia in the menu, the history of the building. When you manage to get past this and place an order the quick service followed by mouth watering Preparation. Like I said the place offered us the experience which is best summarised in just one word : Perfection.

There is a wide range of superb vegan mezze dishes. Superb vegetable firepot, served with special einkorn buckwheat, and with a spectacular fire-show when the dish is served. Come here and feel thoroughly pampered as a vegan.

Fave place to eat in Istanbul! - Edit
My favourite place I ate whilst in Istanbul. We enjoyed so much we went 3 times!
Read moreHuge selection of clearly marked vegan food and wines. Really enjoyed the whole vibe and setting - perfect for an evening date.
I would highly recommend the veggie amphora. I also loved the braised herbs & cashew yoghurt starter.
Price wise, it isn't too much more than other places (approx 500TL per main and 100-150TL per starter) but for me it was entirely worth it for delicious food!!
Pros: Delicious food, Friendly staff, Nice wines
Cons: Maybe a little more pricey

Excellent food and Atmosphere - Edit
Some of the best food I've had in Istanbul, I would absolutely give this place 5 stars if I could.
Read moreA small cosy restaurant with a lot of clearly marked vegan options. The food was excellent, particularly the Vegetables Amphora and the Green Lentil Patty Kash kek.
The staff were super helpful and friendly (especially the owner) and the chef, Sanal, is phenomenal.
Not sure why other reviews talk about the music being too loud, we thought the atmosphere was great and definitely not too loud to have a conversation.
The local cats are also a fantastic addition.

I did not like the place. The music was very loud and the food was very oily. The place was way to expensive for what it was, since it was far away from the center and the food was nothing special.

Would not recomend - Edit
The food was ok but expensive compared to other places. Loud music playing the whole time so if you fo there with someone else you will not be able to hear each other. The waiter offered bread but if came when we were finishing our meal, and it tasted very bland, no taste at all. The bathroom was dirty and there is graffiti on the wall, a picture of a sh*t moking pot. The food was also very oily and I personally have a sensitive stomach and would not eat there again.
