Amazing 🙏

The food here is soo good the only downside is that there’s too many delicious options, it’s so hard too choose, if I’m ever in the area again I will be back for sure.
Staff are really friendly.

Pros: The food , The options , The staff

Best Thai food in Seattle

Araya’s food is tasty and all vegan. I don’t care for the fried food, but their curries are delicious and so flavorful.

Pros: Vegan

Phad Thai tastes like candy

The Phad Thai was too sweet for my tastes, as someone who usually limits sugar (whole food plant-based). Though somewhat my own fault for not asking, plant-based doesn’t necessarily mean healthy.

Great Vegan with Gluten free options

The atmosphere of this restaurant is a lovely open air place in a great neighborhood with lots of shopping options. On a hot day, it can be a little warm in the restaurant but the food is so good you won’t care. They have a small wine and beer menu as well as cocktails.

So lovely!

This restaurant was so fun. Delicious, healthy, fresh, great service, great value, and a fun happy hour!
Good craft beer for cheap, and sizeable portions of great dishes for $5 each. So of course, we just sampled everything on the list 🤤👌
We liked everything that we got (pictured in this review) but if the image looks like the serving is too small for the plate - that's because we ate some before we remembered to take a picture.
Our waitress was nice, everyone was helpful.

Great place; Excellent Customer Service

Great place- just like the U- District location I used to go to when i lived in the area..... has the buffet daily until 3 pm. Tasty choices.. However I dont feel they are quite as tasty as they use to be in years past. They are mosrly organic :). The manager, Mena, gets extra thumbs up. She handeled some of my confusion well- that I had on times and parking. She really went out of her way! Gifted me with an apron and discounted my check (as I arrived close to 3- by the way GET to Buffet by 2:30)
I recommend this place :)

best Thai food, just happens to be vegan

I originally got recommended this place by non vegans actually...I’ve since been there at least 5 times with non vegans and everyone loves it, says it’s as good or better than regular Thai food. I personally think it’s much more flavorful than regular :)

Best Vegan in the Neighborhood

It might be the only fully vegan place in the neighborhood but it's great to travel and find a place like this. I ordered a Tom Kah soup, the Araya's Asparagus, and of course a Thai Iced tea (with Coconut-milk cream). Everything was really good.

Must check out this place if in the area!

I’ve been here a few times now, and it’s definitely my favorite restaurant I’ve been to in this area so far. I love Thai food, and this place does not disappoint. The buffet is really great, prices are good for all the food you get. The staff are wonderful, very warm and welcoming and the atmosphere is charming. Perfect for date night or celebration meals, or even if you just want delicious food for lunch buffet! Highly recommend and will be going back again soon.
The green curry is my favorite. Portions are large enough to share with 2 people and be stuffed.

Pros: Great atmosphere, Affordable prices , Amazing food-very flavorful

Cons: The parking

Great atmosphere and even better food

Everything was great! The only thing that was not 100% we’re the vegan prawns but they are optional on all dishes.

Good choice & price

I've been here a few times for lunch. Because it is self serve, buffet style, it works well within a limited lunch break - and the time pressure adds the benefit of not overeating, which would seriously be a likely problem for me here as there is plenty of choice. I particularly like the Pad Thai and the peanut sauce. Buffet includes dessert & healthy (raw) options.

Pros: Good selection, Busy so food is fresh, Quick

Epic - Flavorful - Affordable

This place is by far my husband and I's favorite vegan restaurant. We've gone here just about every week for months now. The buffet is every day 11:30-3:30 and only $12/person. You can get everything from noodles to spring rolls to stir fry and soups. Their peanut sauce and spring rolls are crazy good. We love being able to get a wide variety meal with amazing flavor and eat as much as we want!

Cons: small seating area (I've gotten the buffet to go b

Amazing food

I went here last night and the food was exceptional. We got the spring rolls and satay vegetables to start which were so good.

For the mains we shared a yellow curry, phad Thai, banana massam curry (which was interesting), kaeing ka-ri, drunken mushrooms (which my non meat-eating friend said was the best mushrooms he has ever tasted) and the veggie meat with peanut sauce.

Would highly recommend if you want delicious and tasty vegan Thai food at a reasonable price 😀

Pros: Tasty, Delicious, Great price

The ambiance is quite pleasant: Cozy, friendly, clean, it has good illumination and a lot of windows. The food is great and there are lots of options and combinations. They can even adapt the level of spiciness. Last but not list, the food came super fast!

Pros: They can adapt the level of spiciness, Happy hour promos, Friendly crew

Fun Vegan Lunch

I recently took a non-vegan friend here for lunch and we both loved it! The buffet is nicely displayed, offers tasty options and is a decent price at $11.95 which includes a surprisingly tasty sticky rice pudding dessert.

Pros: tasty vegan dishes, friendly staff & quick service, excellent fresh vegan food

Cons: parking can be a challenge in the area

Excellent vegan Thai

Fantastic food with a clean, smart atmosphere, and lunch buffet. There are very few soy-free options, sadly, but the portions from the menu are generous, the peanut sauce is fantastic (and SF), and that Thai iced tea is to die for. Highly recommended.

Pros: Generous portions, Nice atmostphere, Great quality

Cons: Few soy-free options, A little expensive

A worthwhile option

I've only been here once. It was worth the visit.

It's not easy to find truly vegetarian Thai food: e.g., soup without fish sauce. For many vegetarians, that alone makes this an attractive place.

I ordered the tofu satay for an appetizer and the curry with asparagus, with brown rice, for the main. This was way more food than I could consume, so I set aside most of the satay to take home. Both dishes were pretty good; the curry sauce was indeed fairly watery, but the vegetables seemed fresh.

Service was a bit odd. The staff were very friendly. However, it took a while to place an order. Once I had, though, the food came out in rapid order (I had had only a third of the appetizer when the main came out), and they seemed really eager to clear my plates. But then it again took a while to pay.

I wish they had smaller appetizers (that probably cost a bit less, too). The service could become a bit more savvy. And if you aren't vegetarian, there's probably not much of a reason to go here. But if you are, it's well worth it.

Pros: vegan, fairly tasty, friendly staff

Cons: expensive for one, odd service

Awesome buffet--so glad this is in Bellevue

Love the food here--it's so nice to be able to eat from the WHOLE buffet as a vegan. Great peanut sauce and kimchi! Not as spicy as I am used to but they have some spicy sauces if you want to make things hotter.

My omni parents liked all the food--they label the gluten free options too! SO glad this place is in Bellevue.

Pros: Food, Friendly Staff

Cons: Not spicy

Awesome Thai Vegan Cuisine!

Araya's had their grand opening in Bellevue last month, but it took me awhile before I moseyed on over to this little gem of a restaurant. Nestled in the heart of downtown Bellevue, Araya's offers a delicious lunch buffet for under $10. Buffet items include crispy spring rolls, pad thai, a variety of curries, salad bar, and a delicious sticky black bean and rice pudding. It is sooo good. I decided to check out the dinner offerings last week. I had the gyoza (pot stickers) which was amazingly good. I immediately thought of the last time I had vegan pot stickers which happened to be at Boom Noodle. Araya's should school them on how it's done. Delicate flavors of cilantro & spring vegetables served with ponzu sauce was perfect for the palate. Next I had the green curry with brown rice on the side. I asked if they could put eggplant in the curry (it's not included in the standard menu). They were more than happy to accommodate my request. That too, was delicious. Lastly, I had the Oh My Goodness chocolate fudge. It wasn't my first choice though. I asked for the Creme Brulee. My waiter talked me out of it, citing the fudge was more popular. I asked him if something was wrong with the dessert I picked. He said the texture is odd. I relented and went with his selection. For the record, I'm not a big chocolate fan. It's a very rare thing for me to eat. It tasted like chocolate. There was nothing wrong with it. I'm sure if you're the type who orgasms over chocolate, this dessert is going to be right up your alley. Next time I'm there I will give the creme brulee a whirl. They have a non vegan bakery in addition to the vegan baked goods. Overall, I highly recommend Araya's Place. The staff is very friendly, the food is delicious, and the prices are more than reasonable. You can find them on Bellevue Way between Main and 2nd, in a yellow building.

Update 6/21/12: Took a friend to dinner there last night. I had one of the two creme brulee desserts they offer. It was Machi flavor. I loved it! :)

Pros: inexpensive lunch buffet, accommodates special requests, vegan!

Cons: limited parking
