Creative Pizza Toppings

One of the highlights of visiting Toronto was getting to eat at Apiecalypse Now! after oggling vegan pizza on their instagram for ages. We had THE PIG DESTROYER DESTROYER, BBQ BUFFALOVER, THE FAT MAC and the CHILI-MAC & CHARLIE. All of them were delicious. Creative names, good vibe, cool logo, friendly staff and there is the FUBAR upstairs. Great place. Will definitely go again next time in Toronto.

Pros: Excellent Food, Good Value, Friendly Staff

THE BEST

There will never be enough amazing things I can say about this place the folks who keep it going. The best and most wild pizza on the planet. Doughnuts and baked goodies to die for. Every vegan dipping sauce your heart has been aching for. The most down to earth and friendly folks behind the counter (shout out to Cole!). Hard working, ethically driven, vegan kitchen wizards and witches to the core! Nothing but absolute love for Apiecalypse ♥️🍕🍩

Pros: the most badass pizzas of life , beer + tables at Fubar upstairs, the rad folks who work there (++lgbtq++ safe space

Best pizza I've ever had, including any non-vegan pizzas I had in the past

This place has pizza making down to a fine art, really truly on point. We will absolutely be back to try all of the options, the hardest part of eating here is trying to choose!

Pros: Pizza perfection.

Cons: None, absolutely zero complaints. If you like pizz

Insanely good pizza

Excellent vegan pizza by the slice! Constantly changing and varying options. They also sell other things like jalapeño poppers, doughnuts and more. I would say it is comparable to Screamers in New York, but with way nicer staff and a cool and alternative vibe. The White Walker pizza was my favourite.

Pros: Taste, Selection

Cons: Opening times

Tasty pizza

We had two pizzas, mine was with nachos (I didn't notice that when I ordered) and I didn't like that one actually. Nice, not awesome. My boyfriend ordered a slice with pork I think and his was really good! The place was hot and not well ventilated. I want to come back to try different slices. I think they have only 4 options though.

Cons: Not enough ventilation

Good Company, Good Food

They're a wonderful company who support the local vegan community a lot. Their food is decent, and isn't overpriced.

Their delivery leaves something to desire, every thing we've ever got delivered has arrived cold, but we're also a little far I guess (Roncesvalles).

The Fat Mac is my go-to, and my partner swears by the Reunion Tour.

Pros: Big Mac-styled pizza , Serve beer upstairs

Cons: Delivers cold pizza almost always. Eat in!

Delicious!!

This place was simply amazing. Very small, limited seating. Nice staff. All vegan place. I had a major feast - I grabbed a slice of what was on display... the Fat Mac - quite simply one of the best pizza's I've ever had!! I had a side of poutine with smoked gouda. Then to top it all off i had a deep fried mars bar. I ate in (It was very warm inside this restaurant though) -
bar stool seating only. I was so stuffed, but I loved everything I tried! Definitely a must for Toronto visitors!!!!!

Pros: All vegan!

Absolutely Delicious

I'm so glad I stopped by this place. They had 4 different pizzas to choose slices from or you could order a pizza to go. The price was really good (about $4 a slice... and they're big slices) and the two slices I got (BBQ and the Pig Destroyer Destroyer) were delicious. The customer service was great too.

Pros: Delicious, Good price, Great customer service

Absolutely amazing

We were very hungry after our long trip and happy to arrive at Apiecalypse. We bought about 9 pizza slices. We took them to the park nearby and ate them there. They were absolutely delicious. One of the best vegan pizzas I've had. Normally the pizza I eat is simple and without vegan cheese, so I was happy to eat some pizza with really good vegan cheese! Would go back for sure. 10/10.

Pizza slice hit the apot

Had the "meat lovers" pizza and it was sooo good! It was hard to choose an option, there were so many good choices, I'll def be back! Crispy crust, creamy garlic sauce and satisfying "meaty" textured toppings. Still have the cinnamon sugar donut to try but I couldn't wait to post my review :)

Pros: Service, options, savory & sweet!

Cons: Don't wait too late to get your donuts, your fave

Amazing!!!

Can I give this place six stars? I'm not even sure where to start.

We stopped in here twice during a five day trip to Toronto. On the first day, we had the deceitball sandwich, a couple slices of pizza (I don't remember one, but the other was the Fat Mac?), mozzarella sticks, and poutine (with the gouda). Holy moly! We devoured EVERYTHING and the portions were HUGE!!!!

We liked the Fat Mac pizza so much, that we ordered a large to go to take home with us.

On Day 2, we got two orders of poutine, an order of tater tot nachos (tachos), and more mozzarella sticks. The tachos? Way more amazing than I expected them to be, and I expected nothing short of bliss when I ate them.

Seriously, you're doing yourself a major disservice if you visit Toronto and don't visit this place. We took our kids (9 and 2, at the time of the visit) and they devoured the food, too.

Also, did I mention the staff is incredible? Everyone was super friendly and helpful. We had traveled from the US, and had no idea where to get organic/vegan food at the supermarket, and the staff gave us lots of feedback/suggestions/directions. And the staff was very patient as we took time to drool over the entire menu before ordering.

I would drive to Toronto literally just for this restaurant. And I'm seven hours away!

Pros: Amazing food, Great prices, Amazing staff

Cons: Small space

Current Favoriate!!!

This is the best vegan pizza place in Toronto period. They have a good selection of food and desert. There are also vegan "bacon grease", vegan Parm-style topping, etc. for sell. Great location, steps outside of Christie station. The price is fair too. I just can't say enough good things about this place. I wish they open more stores across Toronto. Overall, amazing!

Pros: delicious food, inexpensive price, completely vegan

Cons: WE NEED MORE OF THIS STORE! ALL OVER TORONTO

The pizza every city needs.

Everytime I go to Toronto I get myself some apiecalypse, it is the place for pizza!
All pizzas are veryyy good! The only thing I would add is more sauce, especially when it is a tomato base pizza.
Best Greek salad is here, the feta is the best I ever had ( but this is a cheese from another Toronto shop)
A must if you visit Toronto.

Pros: Not shy on toppings, Amazing sides

Cons: More sauce on pizzas

Pizza and Donuts!

"The Pig Destroyer" pizza is amazing, the slice was a good size and reasonably priced too, one of the best pizzas I've had since becoming vegan! I don't recall the name, but we also got one with lettuce on, similar to a big mac, that one wasn't to our taste but still good overall!

Visiting Canada for the first time, my partner insisted I try poutine, I got some here, I think it was made with maple syrup as apposed to gravy, which was interesting, but nice! I got the cinnamon sugar donut to take away too, that was possibly the best part, it was extremely tasty!

Pros: Great selection of comforting junk foods!, Good prices, Fast

Cons: Small / lack of space

Racoons!Donuts!Pizza!

What a great little stop to have pizza fresh and ready by the slice. A great selection of interesting pies and dipping sauces. Grab a slice and a donut for the perfect junkfood pairing of supreme greatness. The crust is fluffy and soft, the donuts are crispy and excellent. A little messy I can imagine little ones gravitating toward the pink donut which would be a disaster in the car. Hehe

Pros: cutest logo ever, yummy!

Cons: You aren't in the USA

The best pizza I've ever had

I don't want to sound dramatic but, the pizza I had here was LIFE CHANGING. It was honestly the best pizza I remember ever having in my life. I shed a single tear for the knowledge that I would not have it again for years as I live across the ocean and was only in Toronto for a visit.

The pizza here is my favourite kind -- a thick crust with loads of toppings. Specifically the kind that it's much rarer to find vegan, and even then, you don't get the cheese and those kinds of pizza I can make myself.

Anyway, I got the Toronto Island and people diss pinapple on pizza but honestly, this was the most beautiful marrying of flavours I have ever had the joy of putting in my mouth. I highly recommend it.

Pros: Amazing pizza, Friendly staff, Loads of options -- can buy by the slice or whole

Cons: Not open on mondays :'(, Some pizzas you can only buy whole (not by slice)

Awesome pizza and donuts!

They have some interesting toppings on their pizza, all served with melted dayia cheese. A little pricey at $4 a slice but still worth it. We also tried a salted caramel donut that was delicious. Highly recommend.

Pros: really friendly staff, real pizza dough

Cons: a little pricey
