We love coming here, and have brought friends and family members here since it opened (vegan, vegetarian and meat eaters). We are never disappointed.

Nice little cafe even when busy you don't feel rushed or crowded. The staff are amazingly knowledgeable about the food and happy to chat with you. The food is lush. I've been here countless times and it's always good!

Really nice restaurant. We visited in March and they didn't have an alcohol licence so we brought our own wine in. I had the gnocchi as the waiter suggested and my partner had the burger. Both were really delicious and freshly prepared.

You can tell a top restaurant a mile off as they are always busy although they still make it a relaxed atmosphere.

Absolutely love this place. Everything is vegan and ethically sourced, no need to worry about dairy contamination or dodgy palm oil here. The food is outrageously good; the breakfast is legendary and the shakes are wonderfully indulgent.

One minor issue - especially if you're sitting in the corner overlooking the cycle stand - a wave to wait staff might be needed to remind them you're waiting ...

I've been excited to take my girlfriend to Anna Loka for a while now and the opportunity came this weekend - I was not disappointed!

But we really wanted to have a sit down meal ... so we came for Brunch on the saturday. Had the cali breakfast and pancakes with the espresso smoothies!
Very satisfied, we told our friends about it sunday morning, tried to book a table for that day - but couldnt - so we deliveroo'd it.
How good is Anna Loka? Its definitely worth going atleast 3 times in 48 hours.
Pros: 100% vegan, Low gluten options
Cons: Book on the weekend! Its popular!

On a day trip to Cardiff for business I visited this small restaurant after seeing the reviews and glad I did. Very helpful staff and superb food. I found it hard to decide what to eat but eventually decided on the Thai curry, it was nice and spicy with very nice textures and most of all delicious. I only wish there were more places like this. If I'm ever in Cardiff again despite wanting to try the other vegan only options, I will find it hard not to go here again. They made me a great flat white soya coffee as well. Loved it all and a very nice funky deco to relax in while you eat ethically. 5 stars from me, one of the best curries I've had for sure.

My salad bowl was a bit bitter and the Tofu in the bowl was extremely small despite there being nothing small about the price. Ditto the coffee. The wrap was very tasty and this is still a good place to go - next time I'll try one of the burgers.

Anna Loka is one of my favourite restaurants in South Wales. Started by Adam with the aim to promote vegan food and no harm to the environment and animals. I come here probably once a month on average and have never walked away disappointed. I have also bought many non vegans and vegans here and all have enjoyed the experience. Small menu in some respects but more than enough variety to satisfy most people. Burgers in particular are very fine. Nice range of smoothies and bottled kombucha. Great vibe and friendly staff. Great place.

Read moreOn my server's recommendation I opted for the Anna Loka burger, and I was far from disappointed. Great flavor, and very filling without being too heavy. The "Purple Velvet" juice was exquisite. Also had a very nice chocolate-orange dessert.
Highly recommended. Enjoy!

Went for my birthday meal January 2018 and had a delicious 3 course meal and a lovely smoothie! We were all impressed by the sheer amount of options and the great selection of plant milks available for the coffees.

Read moreI really enjoyed eating the Ultimate Burger. The onion ring was an interesting addition. My partner had a wrap. It was beautifully presented and he said it was very tasty.
The cake was superb. Amazing texture for a vegan cake.

We were visiting Cardiff and our non-vegan friends took us here as there lived nearby. The food was fantastic, we had the trio of starters, all excellent and for mains we had Tofish & Chips and the Chilli Dog. That sausage in the Chilli Dog was the best I've eaten, the garlic mayo was sublime and the Tofish had seaweed inside and was delicious. Even our non-vegan friends loved their burgers and this was their first vegan meal. I wish this was in Manchester and comes highly recommended
