Best in Town - Edit
Am Vegetarian is the best vegetarian food in town. It can offer vegan options if you tell the server no milk or eggs when cooking. The restaurant is beautiful and the staff couldn't be more friendly. It's a great place to relax and enjoy really good food.

nice food at reasonable prices - Edit
Went there with my boyfriend, he had the Pad Thai, I had rice with steamed morning-glory (similar to swiss chard or spinach) and garlic. Both were very delicious, however especially the pad thai was quite a small portion. We also had the Am special spring rolls which were very nice and the only greasy dish! Most dishes are about 55.000vnd, which isn't cheap in comparison with other places, but a great deal for Europan standards. Also, the place itself is beautifully decorated and comfortable!

Am restaurant - Edit
Of the 4 veggie restaurants we have eaten in during our stay in Hoi An, this was the best. The owner is very nice, staff very courteous and solicitous without being over bearing. I recommend it.

beautiful setting a short walk from town - Edit
Very beautiful setting, authentic chilled out vibe. Great for a snack or full meal - all Vietnamese options. They even gave us bug spray for sitting outside

Not bad! - Edit
I liked the bike ride out here : ) Was trying to go to the vegetarian or vegan place next door.. but it was so crowded and wanted a more peaceful place to eat. I choose here and was satisfied. I am not sure if what I got was vegan or not (a noodle dish). It wasn't my favorite place, but it is a good option! Also got a watery Mango shake.

Decent place, friendly staff! - Edit
Enjoyed the food here, it was tasty. The servings were quite small though. Also had a mango smoothie which was a little watery. The veg fish and tumeric is great though and the food was very fresh. Would go back again. Ordered a plate of broccoli too and it came out as cauliflower with a few slithers of broccoli. Lovely staff but!

Decent spot - Edit
Overall a reasonably good meal, I'd recommend the vegetarian fish with turmeric which was great. Some of the menu obviously isn't translated well though - we ordered a plate of mustard leaves and received bok choy and the person next to us ordered broccoli and got cauliflower. There are definitely cheaper and overall better restaurants to visit though, in my opinion.

Wonderful, creative Vietnamese vege food - Edit
The best vege restaurant in Hoi An of the several good ones I have tried. Delicious and interesting Vietnamese food, plus many regular favorites. Pleasant and clear decor. Overall I 'd rate this modest place among the best vege restaurants in Vietnam. Combined with inexpensive prices, it's a winner. Very friendly staff - I took their recommendations and each was better than the last. If you're in Hoi An, don't miss it. It's only a few yers old, opened by an innovative young chef.

Great Restaurant - Edit
This is a quaint and unique restaurant with delicious food and friendly staff. My husband and I originally went to another restaurant, but it didn't look appetizing, so we stumbled into Am. The staff were attentive and friendly, and the food was fast and fresh. My husband even enjoyed it, and he is not very fond of vegetarian food.

The classiest vegetarian restaurant in Hoi An! - Edit
Love this place! Been several times and I'm never disappointed. The decor is arty, bohemian, yet classy. The service is always helpful, friendly and with a smile. The food is amazing, high quality, light on oil (rare for Vietnam) and incredibly tasty without MSG. The portion sizes are generous and very good value (most dishes are just 40,000vnd/$2usd). I highly recommend trying the following dishes;
Read moreFried Turmeric Vegetarian Fish with Dill
The ‘fish’ strips look like chips (fries), but have an uncannily fish-like flavor and texture. The pairing with turmeric and dill is genius and has you wondering why this isn’t a main dish (it’s just an appetizer).
Okonomiyaki (Japanese Pancake)
This savoury pancake is incredibly umami and one of my Top 10 favourite vegetarian dishes in Vietnam. To sum it up in a nutshell, the light, crispy savoury pancake base is very generously topped with a delightful combo of seaweed, mushrooms, shredded cabbage and carrot and criss-crossed with mayonnaise (not sure if it is vegan, the owner will be able to tell you, I just haven't asked yet).
Fried Rice with vegetarian Fish
It may not look like much, but this dish is super flavourful and does actually taste like fish. Surprisingly, the fish-like flavor in this dish is not from some kind of mock meat, which is definitely a bonus
You don't need to be vegetarian to enjoy the food here, several avid meat-eaters have given it the seal of approval (check out Trip Advisor reviews), including my meat-loving boyfriend!

Nice place with interesting menu. We had the crispy fried tofu which was fresh and hot, silky tofu with crispy crunchy outside. Then the mushroom porridge which was simple and delicious. And the lemongrass and sea salt friend rice. Great! Also a mango shake! We would recommend this place!
