Lovely home cooked food

Had a delicious meal last night. Such a lovely friendly place - like having a meal at a friend’s home. The food is really wholesome and yummy. We had a selection of the mains and sides and shared everything and it was all really good and very filling.

Pros: Fully vegan and really friendly, Delicious home-cooked food

Great food and wonderful service

Came here for my 30th birthday we had a three course meal. The starter was brilliant and so was the main and it was topped off with plaintain and chocolate cake with custard. Great dishes all made with traditional African and Caribbean inspiration. So full of flavour and nutritious! We even had a delicious Sorrell wine included (non-alcoholic). If you are in the Hackney area and want some good vegan food you have to come down.

Pros: Delicious nutritious African and Caribbean dishes., Friendly service., Really good prices.

Cons: Space is limited so call ahead if you can

Cosy place, good food and FANTASTIC staff

Had a late lunch here today with my partner. We didn’t know much about Caribbean food but the lovely lady who owns the cafe was so friendly and helpful. The food was freshly made and delicious. I would definitely come back again. Excellent service

Little Gem

I really enjoyed my dinner at this restaurant tonight. The food is obviously made with love and the service was laid back but efficient. I'll be back next time I'm nearby!

Nice staff but very bland, badly prepared food

Nice staff, but bland, tasteless food. Didn’t seem like much care had gone into the preparation, no garnishes for example. I definitely wouldn’t go back there- could make way tastier food at home for half the price.

Pros: Vegan , Nice staff

Cons: Tasteless food, Badly cooked , No thought in presentation

Good food, good vibes

We weren’t sure what to order but were blessed with a ‘set menu’ curated by the lady who served us. I ate with 4 non-vegans who all loved their food 👌

Great plant based meal

Visted London and had a late lunch here. Service was personal and great. Staff took the time to explain menu. Food was delicious, not over seasoned or bland, just right. All whole food plant based. Food took a little time to prepare but worth the wait.

Pros: Whole food all plant based.

Good food and lovely place

I took two meat eating friends here, not quite owning up to the fact that we were going to a vegan place and they loved it. Very good food and a nice calm atmosphere. The lady who runs it is warm, friendly and helpful.

Pros: great food and atmosphere

Great food and the person who served us was exceptionally nice.

Excellent place and will definitely come back. We were offered a free (big) sample of food before we even decided to stay.

Great little find!

Found this little gem on happy cow. And couldn't believe how close this was to my home. This is a vegan Caribbean restaurant and I couldn't believe I finally found a Caribbean vegan place. The lady who served us was so sweet and attentive, made the whole experience of eating here amazing. The food was tasty and flavoursome all recommended by the server. I'm definately coming back for the chocolate plantain cake!!

Pros: Very tasty! Reasonably priced.

Cons: none

Amazing is an understatement

For a while now East London has been in the dark about vegans, most importantly Caribbeans have lost the will to refrain from meat dishes through tradition and somewhat of a habit. Being vegans for a full year now my partner and I decided to have our regular date night and I found All Nations Caribbean Vegan House on this website and because it was so close to us we went there and was not disappointed. We both had the starters of Sweet Potato with salad and herbal dressing, for mains we had butter beans curry with bulgar rice and freshly fried plantain and for desert we had the famous Chocolate Plantain cake which was sublime. The owner was incredibly welcoming and wished we took a picture of our first date night at "ANCVH" but it won't take long until we know we'll be back to sample more of what is on the menu.

Lovely and different

Friendly owner and good food. The emphasis is on healthy Caribbean dishes which is welcome alternative to the obligatory burgers , pizzas and curries of most vegan outlets. The cake was a real treat. Its not cheap but its well worth visiting this to taste a bit of old Hackney Caribbean culture entwined with the new vegan one.

Pros: Good food, Sugar free desserts, Something different

Cons: Not cheap but worth it!
