Tasty but a bit expensive - Edit
Good food and nice staff! If you want to sit down and eat you have to order a drink from a bar next door, otherwise you can only do takeaway!

Amazing soup and ćevapčići - Edit
We came here to try a veganized traditional ćevapčići and absolutely loved it, also had a tomato and Mexican-style soup, they were both lovely. The staff is super kind and funny as well – make sure to pronounce the ćevapčići the right way, the only way to get it! 😄 Would definitely come back here.

Cons: Prepare cash if you need drinks from the bar

Vegan cevapcici!! Must try - Edit
Living in Serbia where the traditional food is meat, is hard. So I was so happy when I found this place with vegan cevapcici. And they are SO good! The texture and the taste reminded me of actual cevapcici!!! You have to try them!
Read moreAlso I ordered the Mac and cheese (wow they actually taster like Mac and cheese!!) and the Buddha bowl (kind of boring taste; would not order it again).
Just a bit weird that you get the food in paper boxes with plastic forks, even when you sit down and eat there…
Pros: Vegan traditional food , Cheap
Cons: Plastic forks , No plates but paper boxes

Brunch Treasure Hunt - Edit
We chose this hidden little spot for our Veganuary Saturday brunch; just follow the signs. Behind the Monk bar, there’s a counter where you can order from an all vegan menu. Stated to have a symbiotic relationship with the bar next door, Ahimsa is run by a wonderful woman who makes many things “in house” and can explain the menu very thoroughly. They don’t make drinks and the bar doesn’t make food, so together, they make a great pair. Our group ordered Combo 1: soup and tofu sandwich, Combo 2: soup and quesadilla (bell peppers and vegan cheese), a burrito, oatmeal, and Mac and cheese I believe. Everyone enjoyed their meal as we discussed facts on the health, moral, spiritual and environmental impact of being vegan. It was a very enjoyable brunch. #Veganuary

Yummy sandwiches! - Edit
A warm welcome, nice staff, yummy burgers and quesadillas. I went with a group of vegans and hopefully vegans-to-be and we were all very happy with our choices including also soups and mac & cheese. The place has not much inside place but has a lovely outside garden that must be awesome in summer. During winter you can opt for take away or eat your food in the nearby bar, which has a non-smoking section

Thrilled! - Edit
The food is prepared carefully and with love. Most of the ingredients are organic, the owner is super friendly, kitchen is very clean and has a home vibe. They will also serve you food in the great bar that's right to her place if you want. Note: smoking is allowed in Monks bar.
